There are some people who tout the benefits of eating protein and fat with every meal/snack combined with a carbohydrate source.

i notice that if i eat fat at a meal i don't necessarily feel more full...but if i eat protein with my carbs i do.

i know that carbs cause an insulin spike, which is probably why i am famished after eating only carbs during a snack.

what are your experiences with macronutrient combinations and what seems to keep you feeling full?

also, do you eat a larger amount of say fat/protein/carbs at a certain time of day? if so, why and what impact does it seem to have??
