Food/Cooking blogs
I like to occasionally browse food blogs - nice photos and first-hand accounts often spur me to try new recipes that I might otherwise have skipped. Unfortunately, I always seem to end up on the ones featuring mouthwatering-but-high-cal desserts!
So I'm calling upon CCers - what's your favorite (healthy?) food blog?
http://cindalouskitchenblues.blogspot.com/ = This is by far my favorite site because all of the recipes are GIASBASH approved! ah ha ha! Oh and she uses grass-fed/free ranged meats!!!
I love http://allrecipes.com/ bc there are just so many recipes, and you can narrow things down to healthy or low cal categories!
I also love love loooove http://www.101cookbooks.com/ bc the recipes are usually very healthy and often organic, but also so interesting and easy to make. For example - Sunday's recipe was "Baked Sweet Potato Falafel" - YUM!!!
http://www.katheats.com. Kath was a classmate of mine at Davidson and she is studying to be a R.D. She takes pictures of what she eats (and I mean EVERYTHING) each day and a lot of times includes recipes, and even videos of how she makes things. Enjoy!

http://blog.fatfreevegan.com/ (I'm not a vegan but some of these recipes are pretty good)
http://cheaphealthygood.blogspot.com/
http://www.mealmakeovermoms.com/recipes/ (No, I'm not a mom =P)
These are the healthy ones I have. The others I have bookmarked are mostly desserts but I see you don't want anymore of those =P
www.tastespotting.com is the ultimate food blog. It features pictures from tons of different blogs. You just click on ones you like & that's it! I get at least a dozen great recipe ideas every week.
This is not a blog, but Cook's Illustrated has great light recipes. YOu have to join their website, but for just a couple of dollars a month it's worth it...for ALL recipes. I am a chef and this is a go to site for me above all other sites for baking and pastry or maybe a dish that I have not heard of. Their recipes are the most reliable. YOu can get a free trail offer.
I have been doing this for 2.5 weeks and am down 4.6 so far...53.4 to go :). I am becoming a bit obsessed about making regular recipes healthier by changing the fat, cooking technique, and using whole grains, lean proteins, LOTS of veggies. I love simple food. I don't make many cassaroles or things like that. I am being even more conscious of it now, and with summer's bountiful harvest coming in, the vegetables are too good to mess around with too much. It's easier to track when it's simple too.
Sorry if this is off track...
Katheats.com is great! I love Kath and all her posts and recipes - I've been reading for over a year now.
I also like Carrots N' Cake, Gliding Calm, "Eat, Live Run", Running with a Recipe, Eating Bird Food, For the Love of Oats, Peanut Butter and Jenny, Chocolate Covered Katie (or CCV), Heather Eats Almond Butter, Eating Bender, and Dancing to Recovery. There are more... O_O
