Food for cooler

I am going to the Air & Sea Show tomorrow. This means being at the beach from 8Am-5:00pm There will be food vendors all around (probably very unhealthy food) I am taking a big cooler to hold food and drinks for me and the family.

Any ideas on what to take to eat on the beach for the day? What would you take if you were spending the day at the beach?

I was thinking Turkey Sandwiches, Grapes, water, Diet coke, 100 calorie snack packs.

I think you're ideas are all terrific.
I like to take skinless, baked chicken legs on picnics.  They are easy to eat and it's nice to have some "real" food.  I also make a pretty tasty potato salad that is very low fat.  Boiled potatoes, salt, pepper, dried dill weed, and fat free sour cream.  It's much lighter tasting than traditional potato salad, filling, and tasty!  When you are thinking snack packs, don't forget about fat free pudding cups, and jello and fruit cups.

I used to live near the beach so we went all the time.  SANDwiches are always the best bet :)

Don't forget to take lot's of cut up veggies!  A day at the beach will  make you guys really hungry.  A sandwhich will not be enough to fill you up.  Take some ziplock baggies filled with carrots, celery sticks, peppers, broccoli, etc.  You can much all day!

I was thinking of making a cold tuna pasta salad as our main lunch.
