What food do you eat everyday without fail?

Quote  |  Reply
These summer days I never go without at least one perfect peach, a cup of spinach (at least) and a powerbar protien plus vanilla yogut bar.  These things change regularly depending on my appetite, the weather and the season.

In may it was PEANUTBUTTER, I do not know why but I have not been feeling very peanutbutter lately (I checked I do not have a fever :-0).

What is your current healthy addiction?

Oatmeal! And my old favourite, sandwiches. I've cut down a lot, but I couldn't go without a sandwich a day.
Water-freakin-melon! I love it, and Ive got to have it. I dont know what ill do when it goes out of season! :(
Peaches and La Tortilla Factory orginal fat free tortillas for me.  yuuuum.
Milk!  I love, love, love, love, love, love milk.  Always
have, always will.  Of course I drink the fat free variety and I
don't drink it 24/7 like I would like to, but I get a good amount of it
everyday.  Mmmmmm crisp, tasty, nutritious and refreshing!
shiguresflower, how many cals and carbs in the tortilla, I love tortillas, but stay away from foods like that, when they come in a package of many I will eat the whole package, I do not buy bread 'cause I would eat the whole loaf in minutes, love sourdough, could sit down with fresh bread and good cheese and eat forever, yummy!! (must not buy bread, very dangerous).
Oatmeal oatmeal oatmeal.  And peanut butter with banana.  So so so delicious.
cauliflower! mmmmm cauliflower!!! buttery taste, satisfies the need for the crunchies and is just so delish!
Actually, there are only 50 cals in each one and one whole tortilla is only like 4percent daily value of carbs.  I usually split them in half for snacking anyway.  Plus, they are very nutritional!
I used to never eat breakfast, NEVER, not at all.  But now every morning the first thought in my mind when I wake up....

MMMmmm..... oatmeal!!!
Every day with lunch, I always cut up a small pickling cucumber with a little salt.

I also have spinach every day, whether it be in a salad, or in a sandwhich.

What else??? I am quite addicted to my low calorie, seven grain bread.  It is delicious, and only 80 calories for two slices!
Multi-grain wheat thins.... baby carrots...... whole grain Tortillas.... grapefruit (when they are good)...apples...and something cheese.  Yah, I'm pretty simple to please.  Oh, and Sam's Choice sparkling water, either Key Lime or Mandarin Orange flavor.  And Ice.  Everyday, lots of ice.
1 cup Special K
1/3 cup Fiber 1
1/3 cup Kashi Honey Puffs, but only until I run out, then Im gonna switch it up..
1 cup skim or 2 % Milk
2/3 cup of yogurt

Ive been eating that breakfast for the past 5 weeks and I still havent gotten sick of it.. Whoot!

Steamed veggies (always at least aspargus, brocolli, cauliflower but usually more) with fish (usually Salmon) lightly grilled on George Foreman style grill.

Might sound plain but sooo tasty. Fish is basically the cornerstone of my diet...

I've been doing this for the last 4 months and eat as much as i like, I actually find it difficult to GAIN weight on this diet (not that I'm trying to).

Low GI foods might be a key factor, when I do get a craving for something sweet I have an orange or apple. After a few days to a week, cravings subside and things that you used to think had no sugar in them start to taste sweet!
popcorn
Strawberries .....
erm.. ... er..... . . .. ... . huum... milk?

edit: VEGGGGGIES!
Tomatoes!!! I eat so many tomatoes. Thank goodness they're on sale this week. I've had 7 since Monday, and I'm going to eat 4 more today. Um, there's like no such thing as a tomato overdose... right?
Oatmeal! With fresh fruit, nuts and/or raisins.

And nonfat plain yogurt with fresh blueberrys, strawberries and/or pinapple. Yummmmmmm.
strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
Peanut Butter and Jelly.  I love it.

Oh and milk, because you can't have PB&J without it.

And I have apples most days, but not everyday.  Though I should probably make that everyday, keeps the doctor away right?
