Food Entries on Logs - Editing them?
I often pre-journal my meals to save time. So if I add 8 oz. of chicken to my journal . . . and then when I go to make it the chicken is actually 6 oz., is there any way to edit (increase/decrease) my initial entry?
What I'm finding is that I have to delete the first entry and then re-enter it with the correct weight. It just seems there has to be a way to edit what I've already added?
I've figured out how to easily add another serving to my journal (with the + button) and that's awesome, but can't figure out how (or if we even can) edit it.

I copy it, edit the copy, and delete the original. It's a bit better.
hi, all. while we're talking about tagged items, is there a way to add a tagged item when you're in the tagged item section? i always have to go out to food browser, find it or create it, and then tag it. then if i want to add another, it's wash, rinse, repeat. didn't know if i was missing a link on the page somewhere...
i'm new to this site, so i'm adding everything into my tagged list now and this seems to take the long-way around. (also wish the food browser screen had a search menu when you first open it, instead of having to go into a category and then search). oh well, i'm just happy that i have such a great tool to log what i eat now!
Hello fellow newcomer! I started on the 5th and just this evening figured out how to add a tagged item. Go to your tag list, find the item and click on it. Make sure you are in the list on the LEFT of the screen when you click in it and then the daily log will open - -presto.
Hi, I am new to the site too. I have been trying to figure out how to add the tagged items, but couldn't figure it out. Thanks for clarifying. This will definitely help to speed up the process of adding to my food log!!
I've been here over a year, but I didn't use tags much until last month. Here's a feature I didn't understand until then:
I have the same 6 things for breakfast most days: 1 egg, 1 english muffin, 1 oz cheddar, 1 pat butter, 1 tsp jam, 1 cup OJ.
I had tagged all those things with "breakfast", but I also had other things tagged as "breakfast" (like cereal some days). But I figured out (duh!) that I could also tag these six things as "The Usual". So now to add them to my food log, I just click the [+] icon next to "The Usual" in my tags list. All 6 things get added at once!
I did the same thing with my "Cereal" breakfast days: 1.5 cups cereal, 1 cup skim milk, 1 cup OJ
And the same with my workout routine (three exercise blocks). Tags are cool!
