Food that no longer exists that you wish did :(

Quote  |  Reply

When I was young, in the early 80's there was a cereal called Donutz.  It was like tiny crunchy powdered donuts.  I wish so bad that I had a box of them today, but they quit making them soon after.    :(

Is there a food that you miss terribly?

Ice cream and cheese. Stupid lactose intolerance.

A food in particular? Well. Arctic roll, anyone? It's not a product no longer made but I just don't see it any more. ;(

At Trader Joe's they used to have these Mediterranean soy crisps with garlic and feta cheese. So yummy! I haven't seen them in long time :(

LOL that is so Old School. Laughing I totally remember those. My brother was just in town and we went grocery shopping together and he grabbed a box of "Oh's" cereal we ate this all the time when we were kids. I know it's not mini donuts but is really sweet and crunchy.

When Chili's had curly fries...I am both thankful and upset that they stopped making them..Cool

they stopped making "frankenberry" cereal and only make it around halloween time now.

also, there was this really really good cookie i used to love when i was  younger called "magic middles" made by keebler. They were chocolate chip cookies filled with chocolate in the middle. So bad for you yet so good!

Does anyone remember Crispy M&M's? I LOVED THOSE :(

I used to eat a LOT of yoghurt and string cheese before I found out the reason why I was getting so sick all the time was because of dairy and eggs. :( I know your pain

They used to make this cereal that was like chocolate cheerios, but they where supposed to be Oreos, or something. They where chocolate and had little white specks of, what I think was supposed to be the white stuff in the middle. I used to eat a lot of that.

Also, my mom and I have been searching for these Cheddar rice snack things from Smartsolutions, or something. She gets these massive cravings for cheese, so it's my duty to go out and find these things, but I think they stopped making them.

she refuses to buy the multi grain rice snacks, which I love.

OH! anyone remember Dunkers? They where like handisnacks but came in cookies and cream instead of cheese and crackers...And fruit stripe gum?

I feel old now.

berry berry kix!!! I miss those!!!

Subway used to have a hot BBQ sub that I loved, I have had a BBQ sub at other places but its not the same, I wish subway would bring it back.

A few actually- 1-2-3 Jello that seperated into layers as it set, chocolate pudding cake that was a box mix that made the most delicious brownie-like cake with warm pudding inside and Hydrox cookies with a big glass of milk!  Guess I miss desserts more than I thought-LOL!

Quisp and Quake are both gone.  I was a Quisp kid myself.

diet pepsi jazz and diet vanilla coke.

Hey I love diet vanilla coke! It went away for awhile (I couldn't find it for maybe 6-9 months), but it has been back for about a year(at least in my area). I buy it all the time, its the only soda I ever drink. I was so mad when they got rid of it, and so happy when I found it again.

A second vote for crispy M&Ms, why did they have to go???

I also miss being able to eat moosetracks ice cream and not have to care about the calorie count.

Carnation breakfast bars - the chocolate chip flavor...it was a dense bar, not these chewy bars that are everywhere.

Yellow (lemon) Jolly Ranchers.  D:

When I was a kid, I pronounced my Y-sound like an L.  So 'yellow' sounded like 'lellow'.

My grandma taught me how to say 'yellow' by rewarding me with a lemon Jolly Rancher every time I said it right.  :D

I miss them, dearly.

Gatorade used to have a whole line of drinks called Freestyle.  They came in glass bottles and had a swimer on the front of it.  That stuff was the bomb.

Don't ever forget about Crystal Pepsi!!

Also the Taco Bell Grande Taco for 69 cents.  Remember those things they were like extra long Taco's?

Safeway's in Denver just stop carrying generic Bran Flakes.  I have become addicted to the cheap Bran Flakes.  No other Bran Flakes are as good for the price ($2.25 for a big box)

Godfather Pizza is no longer in Colorado but you can still get it in Wyoming so I guess that does not count

They still sell both of those!

Frozen Jello brand pudding pops
(they came out again temporarily but werent the same

SouthBeach frozen breakfast wraps

3-D Doritos. They were short lived

McDonald's Pizza... I can still remember it...

I'm sure I'll think of more.
