Food that no longer exists that you wish did :(
When I was young, in the early 80's there was a cereal called Donutz. It was like tiny crunchy powdered donuts. I wish so bad that I had a box of them today, but they quit making them soon after. :(
Is there a food that you miss terribly?
AHH YES.
There was this oatmeal with little teeny eggs in it - which grew into little gummy dinosaurs when made. Where oh where did it go?
Probably around 1990-1992 I'd say...anyone know??
EDIT: found the name: Undercover Bears!!
Totally saw Bugles (on sale!) last week at a Harris Teeter. No fun flavors though...
Perhaps you were thinking of Quaker Oatmeal Dinosaur Eggs? It's an oatmeal for kids that has eggs that "hatch" into dinosaurs when you add hot water. I didn't see it on the quaker oats website, but it did find it online:

I remember both the doritos and the little pizzas thats what i used to get when i was a kid i had never had a mc donalds burger until i was alot older. the doritos were more cool than anything they still tasted like doritos

okay so i'm not crazy! i was talking to someone a couple years ago about the brown and tan m and ms and they didn't believe they existed! they thought i made it all up. they've obviously completely forgotten about them. to tell you the truth, i like the blue ones, but did they absolutely have to get rid of the brown and tan ones?
At least you are keeping the memory alive... hehe. I guess I would be willing to give up my grudge against the blue ones if they just brought the old brown and tan ones back.
No no they have apple jacks! I love them! What are you talking about lol
Anyone remember Cruncheroos?? The cereal in a yellow box, that had a purple sweater-wearing dinosaur for its mascot?? I loved that cereal... I remember eating it every morning for breakfast while I watched the original Power-Rangers on YTV ... good times, good times
I agree about McDonald's pizza..... I liked the deluxe....
Does anybody remember gatorade gum??? I loved it in the 80's!!!
Tab
cherry coke
boo berry cereal in the 80's
When Little Caesar's Pizza sold the bucket of spaghetti....
Mmmmmmm.....memories......
Tizer... what happened to it?! It used to be so red and taste red and gorgeous
Now it's just a standard orangey fruit juice
SO LAME SO LAME SO LAME
What the hell have they done to it!!
BNBNs! They're a French buiscuit and they banned them in the UK in the early 000's :'(
They still sell them in France but I miss them sooooo much! If anyone doesn't know what they are they were rounded square buscuits with smiley faces, and a jam or chocolate filling between two sandwhiched buscuit bases. Mmmm...
Oh Bonomo's Turkish Taffy - used to put it in the freezer then smack down on the counter and it would shatter into small pieces.
I discovered one holiday season while making candy that it was actually a nougat! I was making some and tasted it and I couldn't believe I had a WHOLE BOWL FULL of Bonomo's Vanilla Turkish Taffy!!!!!!
Another food I loved, and this goes back quite a ways - from the Gertz Department Store on Long Island, NY. They had a shake type thing you had to eat with a spoon. Maybe made with marshmallow. It was put in a tall glass with a dab of chocolate or strawberry sauce on the bottom. You ate it with a long metal spoon that had a very small bowl (before the age of plastics). I can taste it to this day. I've had no luck trying to find out what it is, if it's still made, or if there's a recipe anywhere.
I don't know if either of these were mentioned yet, but I really miss a drink called Li'l Tom's and I also miss Subway's veggie patties.
Why do I get bad cramps after I eat?
Suspect lactose intolerance when abdominal cramps are a problem, especially after breakfast when milk products are consumed. Lactose... Read more
