What is your favorite FOOD NETWORK SHOW & why?

Personally I ADORE the show UNWRAPPED because well, I think it's so awesome how food is created (and also kind of gross when you really think about it! ha ha).

i have quite a few:

Unwrapped- i love seeing how things are made

Diners Drive ins and Dives- i like Guy Fieri and its amazing to see what he eats at the different places

Next Food Network Star - i like this competition show

Food Network Challenge- i like this show too, especially the cake ones

I like the cooking shows. Rachel Ray, Sandra Lee, Paula Deen, ALTON BROWN (♥). I also love Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and The Next Food Network Star.

Nigella Lawson is superb, Nancy Lam is hilarious and then Ace Of Cakes because the cast is cool and Duff's sorta hot :D

I DON'T Like Ina Garten in Barefoot Contessa, she annoys me

my top favorites would have to be food network challenge, diners/drive ins/dives, chopped (most favorite), and iron chef america.

I dont watch the network but if Im going to, unwrapped is the show :D.  Very well produced, informative and entertaining.

Im not a fan of watching someone cook because Im not a cook but if I had to pick one person, I like Alton Brown.  I love all the facts and how they do the funny TV angles.

Good Eats because I love Alton Brown. <3 <3

Unwrapped is definitely one of my faves. I also love Diners, Drive-in's, and Dives, Food Network Challenge, Ace of Cakes, and Dinner Impossible! Alton Brown is pretty cool too. It's so educational and he cracks me up!

Good Eats, it's interesting and Alton Brown is so cute!

I love the challenges and competitions.  My favorites include:

  • Dinner Impossible
  • Iron Chef
  • Iron Chef America (not as good as the original though!)
  • Chopped
  • Food Network Challenge
  • Watching bobby flay get pummelled in Throwdown
And I love the behind the scenes information on food:

  • Good Eats
  • Food Detectives
  • sometimes, Unwrapped

Oh how I worship the Food Network.

Love love love Good Eats (ALTON BROWN FANATIC!), Chopped, Next Food Network Star, Unwrapped, Food Network Challenges, anything Rachel Ray, and of course, Ace of Cakes with the all funny crew.

Next Food Network Star
Chopped
ANYTHING that Bobby Flay does (Iron Chef, Boy Meets Grill, Throwdown)

I don't really watch any cooking shows (except for the original Iron Chef), but I just wanted to say that I absolutely adore the Food Network website, and you should check it out if you haven't already! They have a ton of great recipes that you can search by dish, by show, by ingredients, and more. I usually don't make the recipes exactly but will use them for inspiration.

I love unwrapped. It's the only show I watch on the channel. ALso I know it's not food network but I love Man vs. Food on travel channel cause the dude eats so much food but is not a huge blob and I wonder how he does it.

I could watch Giada make ice for 30 minutes, and it would be the best show on TV!

I seriously just laughed out loud reading that post! Is it the technique you like... or the fact that she is super hot and can COOK! A double whammy for sure!!

OH AND I have to add that I love Iron Chef America only because the asian dude who introduces the secret ingredient has THE BEST facial expressions ever! Oh and just the way he says the food makes me fall to the floor laughing!

That made ME laugh! The secret ingredient one time was beer and just the way he said it and the look on his face was brilliant. I quickly dvr'ed it and my friend and I watch it like fifteen times with tears rolling down our face.

HAHA! I know, it's hilarious! I love Iron Chef!

My other favorites are Diners, Drive In's, and Dives, GOOD EATS!, Dinner Impossible, Unwrapped, and Will Work For Food. And The Next Food Network Star obviously.

Iron Chef definitely. The Asian version.

It's so dramatic.

Last time our satellite service shuffled the packages around, I lost Food Network Cry.

Fogot how much I missed it until I saw this discussion!!!

Oh, does she have technique too?  I hadn't noticed...
