I am one of those "life-style changers" but I think I can answer this too seeing as though I had to make some changes. Here are the things I eat now which I probably wouldn't have eaten last year...
1. black beans
2. fat free, no sugar added ice cream
3. hummus with raw veggies
4. salmon burgers
5. olive oil (I just didn't really know what I would do with it and that it was good for me)
6. splenda or artificial sweetner (I try to limit this but if I go to a restaurant I get a diet coke which I never...I mean NEVER...would have gotten before)
7. whole wheat pasta and brown rice (I like them a lot but I would have never chosen it over enriched flour until now)
whole wheat pasta, now I love it!
Plain yogurt, I buy the quart size and make my own "flavored" yogurt or use in a breakfast smoothie. Sometimes I just down a big spoonful like medicine and figure it's nothing but good for my gut!
Baked chips
sf popsicles
also, i don't think i woulda tried sugar free strawberry preserves (could eat the whole jar), cottage cheese, La Tortillas, lower sugar oatmeal, Luna Bars and the Frozen Trio (lean cuisine, smart ones, healthy choice). now i love 'em all
