With out fail, always fresh peppers, red yellow, orange green. Cucumbers, carrots.  skim milk cottage cheese, yogurt,  fresh fruit, Usana breakfast shakes- love the dutch chocolate!
I also love apples, peaches and pears!

Usually, I go for 1%, Fat free or Skim Milk =]
Apples are a fav of mine....and lately I've been going through a lot of baby spinach.
It usually switches up every time I go, but there's one thing that's a must: Broccoli. I usually get 5 bags or so it that only last a week or so ? ? mhmm.

Then, of course I must get some meat, a box of cereal, milk, and some jello or pudding. Other than that I get whatever I feel for :]
soy yogurt, apples, strawberries, cut up fruit, fruit leathers, mushrooms, and Amy's meals.

Wow, for me, it's a long list because my shopping lists usually don't change a lot from trip to trip, and I can't eat the same thing for more than 2 days in a row or so, or I get tired of it.  The high points which NEVER change:

  • LaTortilla multigrain wraps
  • Whole wheat/grain bread
  • Low-fat cheese
  • 2% milk
  • Yogurt
  • Strawberries (if they look good), bananas, apples, carrots, celery, broccoli, peppers (all colors), red onions, 2 or 3 lettuce types, baby spinach, green cabbage, potatoes, green onions
  • Kashi GLC honey/almond/flax and Fiber One, either Honey Clusters or Raisin Bran
  • Beans
  • Light string cheese
  • Laughing Cow Light
  • Light Philly
  • Eggs
  • All-Bran crackers
  • PB
  • 100% fruit spread
  • Turkey breast
  • B/S chicken breasts
  • Shrimp
  • Brown Rice
  • Roasted red bell peppers
  • Picante sauce (actually, this one is not "every" time but only because I buy the monster jug of it, not the little jars, which don't last me very long!)
  • Luna bars

I'm sure there's more, but these "staple" items get purchased EVERY "big" shopping day, which is once every 2 weeks.  Fresh/produce/dairy items every week.

i like to change up my foods too cause i get bored really easily, but on our grocery list there's ALWAYS:

  • skim milk with added calcium.
  • silhouette yogurt mousse.
  • baby carrots.
  • wildberry oatmeal.
  • dried fruit.
  • oranges.
  • apples.

other than the 7 items mentioned above, everything else on my grocery list changes alll the time.

i always usually get:
  • almond breeze (unsweetened unflavored)
  • nonfat westsoy soy milk
  • vegetable broth
  • aunt m's indian grain or rye bread
  • rice cheese
  • celery
  • spinach
  • tomatos
  • onion
  • lite tofu
  • cucumbers
  • broccoli
  • jasmine rice
  • Fresh non-fat milk
  • Brown bread
  • Brown rice
  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumber-celeri-lettuce
  • broccoli
  • non-fat yogurt
  • cereal(weetabix or oatmeal)
  • Water of course
  • non-fat cheese
  • soy steaks and a piece of chicken or fish for protein.
That's about it. I try to go once a week, but there are things i buy rarely, like beans or lentils, you buy one package and you keep it for 3 months.
Actually, I really don't buy the same foods each time. Variety is important to me.
i am addicted to hummus! i cant live without hummus! :D

Always on the list:

Frozen Strawberries (unsweetened)

Kix

Brown Rice & Couscous

Broccoli, cucumbers, green peppers & grape tomatoes

Z-Bars & Myoplex Bars

Crystal Light on the Go & Coffee

Ahi ahi Tuna, Mahi Mahi & Organic Chicken

Vanilla Lowfat Yogurt & Plain Lowfat Yogurt, Laughing Cow Light Swiss Cheese, Hummus & Trader Joe's Flat Bread Crackers

Toilet paper...can't live without it. :)

Always on the list:

Bran flakes cereal
Skim milk
Boca burgers
Bananas
Whole wheat pita bread
Splenda
Whole wheat hamburger buns
Lightlife veggie dogs
Whole wheat hotdog buns
WW bread (Nature's Own)
Fat free Pringles
Diet Coke

Often on the list:

Whole wheat pasta
No salt added tomato sauce
Zucchini, squash, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, onions, garlic, kale, carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, etc.
Sugar free jelly
PB2 (order online)

And then I also buy dried beans in bulk, as well as lentils, split peas, etc.
  • Fresh produce- carrots, broccoli, green beans, tomatoes, cucumber, bell peppers, mushrooms, celery, apples, peaches, pears, nectarines, bananas- whatever's in season and looks good!
  • Skim milk
  • Fat-free plain yogurt
  • Whole grain hot cereals- whatever looks interesting! Right now I love Spelt Flakes, but I've got cracked wheat, oat bran and a bunch of others lines up to try.
  • Fish- salmon, sole, cod, whatever.
  • Shrimp
  • Chicken breast
  • Coconut milk
  • Evaporated skim milk
  • Kraft Natural Peanut Butter
  • SF maple syrup
  • Spelt flour
I don't buy all of these things every week- only if I'm out, obviously. These are my staples... for now.
I usually try to buy most of my produce based on what's in-season, but these things usually show up on the list:

  • Skim milk
  • Bananas
  • Large box of mixed lettuce like mache or baby lettuces
  • Whatever fish or seafood looks freshest that day
  • Free-range, organic chicken
  • Shredded wheat or Kashi nuggets
  • Kashi bars
  • An Amy's frozen pizza for the night I just don't feel like cooking
  • Weight Watchers lunches for when I'm rushed and can't leave the office
  • Ingredients for at least one multiple-dinner meal like chili or curry
One thing that I used to always buy, and I need to add back to my list, was a bunch of flowers.  I always kept flowers in the house to brighten it.  Whole Foods has such beautiful bunches of flowers year round.
dannon light n fit yogurt, unsweetened applesauce, nutrition bars, ff cottage cheese, apples, zucchini, laughing cow light cheese, carrots, mushrooms, salad bags, natures own sugar free bread, vitamuffins, almonds

Bananas, Fuji apples, strawberries, crumbled goat cheese, babybel cheese, roasted red peppers, South Beach Diet wrap and salad kits, Fage yogurt, broccoli, eggs, salsa, hummus.

There are other things that rotate depending on what I'm in the mood for, what's available, and what dinner plans are the week, but the above list is standard.

Does anyone have any "not so healthy" food they always buy?mine are poptarts :).

I agree with ilisa that variety is important but i always find myself going back to the same isles in the grocery store to get the same items as always =P.
