balogna, cold hot dog sandwhiches, mayonaise, potato soup made with carnation condensened milk, liver and onions, pinto beans, black eyed peas, corn bread, home made bread, pies, cake, mac and cheese,

Mashed potatoes and gravy, marzetti (hamburger, cheez whiz and noodle casserole), creamed tuna, cherry pie, peach ice cream, pork roast with applesauce, butter, blueberry pancakes.  I know that's more than five but I wanted to walk a little further down memory lane.

3. Baguettes (None sour dough!!!)

4. Dry Turkey (Mom's Cooking)

5. Ezekiel Bagels with Tuna Fish (Mom's Creation that WAS NOT popular AT SCHOOL!)

1. Bologna and cheese sandwiches

2. Chicken nuggets and french fries

3. French toast

4. Saltine crackers and cheese or tortilla chips with cheese

5. Pepperoni pizza

Wow...what I ate as a child was not healthy at all....

i just want to say that three of your five didn't exist yet when i was a child Wink

 

1. Meatloaf

2. Chicken and dumplings

4. Top Ramen

  3. beef stew
  4. macaroni and cheese with tomato paste and chopped hot dogs (mixed)
  5. cinnamon Life

1. Peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.  ( Still an all time fav! )

2.  Bologna, mustard, and crushed potato chip sandwich.   ( 2 pieces of the softest white bread, 2 pieces of bologna pair em up.  Make a mustard smilie face then crush chips on top and slam together... Yum!  )  This delicasey can only be served with a glass of chocolate milk. Laughing

3. City Chicken

4.  Cloverdale Ice Cream shop.  Went once a month on a saturday with parents.  The memory along with Saunder's hot fudge... fabulous.

5. Anything Grandma made!   Laughing  Notably her panacakes... ~le sigh~

I grew up in the 1950s (yeah, I'm old)

1.  My grandmother's home made spaghetti (from scratch) - I'd help her mix in the eggs and put it through the hand crank machine.)
2.  Learning to make instant pudding
3.  Bisquick pancakes with syrup from the tin shaped like a log cabin
4.  Kool Aid
5.  Wacky Cake with Hershey Bar icing (you put squares of a Hershey bar on the hot cake, let it melt and spread it around.
6.  Foot long hot dogs at Jimmy John's
