Yea I'd put enough sugar in it so that after I ate all the cereal I could dip my spoon in the milk and scrape my spoon against the bottom of the bowl and come up with milk and a pile of sugar...and then i'd eat it lol I was a fat hyper child

2. fried bologna sandwiches

5. Hot dogs with bacon & cheese (SOOO good!)

I had quite a sweet tooth Embarassed

it's kind of funny because i don't eat anything from my childhood anymore.  they really don't seem remotely appealing to me anymore...

5 Most Memorable Meals of my Childhood:

1. Scrambled Eggs with melted American Cheese & Jam on Toast

2. Annie's Pasta (the one and only mac n' cheese in my childhood)

3. Peanut Butter & Banana (or Marshmallow Fluff or Jam) Sandwiches with Banilla or Lemon Stonyfield Yogurt

4. Spaghetti & Meatballs & Italian Sausage

5. Meatloaf Sandwiches with Ketchup

 

I also ate a lot of liverwurst...

And now I'm a vegetarian... haha.

i used to love candy.

1. Good old Mac and Cheese...but with Hot Dogs cut up and mixed in (BARF!)

2. McDonald's Kids Meals with Chicken Nuggets...these still sometimes tempt me Embarassed

3. Any kind of sugary cereal such as Captain Crunch or Cookie Crisp.

4. Turkey sandwiches on white bread with mayo

5. See's Candy...it was always in my house growing up, and even still is at my mom's to this day

 May I just say, I've heard of people eating KD every which way. With hot dogs. With ketchup. With veggies.

But NEVER have I heard of KD with tuna and mayo. Very unique!

 Just to add: my daughter always eats Kraft Mac & Cheese with tuna and sour cream.

3. sweetened condensed milk-spread on bread or by the spoonful

4. buttered bread with sugar/ with cheese and sugar

5. toblerone-which my mom would buy and give me one triangle at a time

I grew up in Guam and raised by a filipino mother.

-noodles with butter and parmesan cheese

-fruit snacks

-Kraft Mac and Cheese

-peanut butter and butter sandwiches (A calorie bomb, I know!) or Fluffernutters (PB and marshmallow fluff)

-Swiss chicken rolls (chicken breast with swiss cheese)

-McDonald's Chicken Nuggets

I have to defend my mom here...I actually ate very healthily most of the time.  These are the things that stick out to me because they were "treats".

  3. Soup (chicken and stars, tomato, cream of broccoli and beef vegetable)
  4. Tomatoes, French Dressing and Croutons mixed in a bowl
  5. Those little dixie cups that came in bulk packs with vanilla icecream and either a swirl of strawberry or swirl of chocolate

*Edited b.c I just forgot about one of my most memorable childhood drinks, Wild Cherry Clearly Canadian something about that swirly glass bottle made me feel so cool drinking it!

1. Cauliflower cheese

2. "Barbarian Tea" - When my mum was too tired or rushed to cook a normal meal she'd say 'right we're going to eat like barbarians tonight' and spread a blanket on the living room floor, and put out cold meats, bits of salad and chopped veg, bread, fruit, cheese etc. and we'd all pick at it like an indoor picnic, it was great!

3. Roast dinners every sunday

4. Pasta n' Sauce ready meals on nights mum worked

5. A mixture of mashed potatoes, carrots and onion, baked in a glass dish with cheese on top
