how many carbs should a breast feeding mom have and what are the best ones. what are some other foods that are great for milk supply:)

Oatmeal is known as a galactagogue (substatnce that increases milk supply). I eat a bowl for breakfast every morning and I have a decent supply of milk.

There are also herbs that can increase your milk supply such as fenugreek and blessed thistle. They come in pill form or in teas and can be found at health food stores (I've found Mother's Milk tea at my local grocer).
