Foods that are high in calories and still healthy?

I've been trying to get off my weight plateau using the zigzag method, only thing is, I've had so little calories for so long (screwed up my metabolism) that I can barely eat my BMR...by the end of the day I think I'm doing fine and then I see I still have 500 calories to go, yet I don't know what to eat.

Are there any foods that are both high in calories and nutritious? I don't want to just pig out late at night, I know that's really bad...I hate eating in the evening too, so I'm trying to bulk up in the morning,s but it's proving difficult.

I know nuts are good, and I'm thinking oatmeal or something...? Any suggestions?

Avocados, nut butters are something that instantly come to mind

How about something with peanut butter?  It  tastes great, is healthy and is high in calories.  Pair that with an apple and you have a great snack.

nuts, any kind of nuts :)

olive oil

peanut butter

bananas

granola, especially any kind that has nuts/seeds/dried fruit in it.

Try to incorporate more calories during the day. That way, you're not super full at night. Try drizzling olive oil on top of your meals. A tablespoon has 120 cals!

i don't really get olive oil here, but that's a great idea for when it is around:)

I'm thinking bananas and milk... i need the protein too :/

Try adding in a protein shake in the afternoon or with breakfast. I drink USN Pure Protein which is 200 calories per serving.

as everyone else said: avocados, bananas, nuts, peanut butter.

In addition: steak, bleu cheese, corn tortilla, cheese.
