High potassium food are generally really nutrient rich, so I've been trying to just leave the list up when I'm going shopping... this is a nice list. http://www.cookinglight.com/eating-smart/nutr ition-101/more-potassium-please-0040000000112 5/

And I read somewhere that sodium & potassium work against each other, so... one reason that the 4700 mg potassium goal was set (goal to reduce blood pressure and help your body work more effectively) is because the average american eats 3400 mg of sodium. So, by setting the potassium goal above that, they are trying to counter high sodium consumption. So, if your sodium goal is lower than the 2400 set by the "number pickers", your potassium goal may be lower as well. Important to get MORE potassium than sodium though. Good luck!
