Foods you never get tired of...

Quote  |  Reply
What are some foods that you never get tired of eating? Mine are

-Boca burgers
-Cereal and milk
-Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
-Veggie hot dogs

I eat these items pretty much every day and never get sick of them, as weird as that is.  I guess I'm just a creature of habit.  What about everyone else?  What do you/could you eat over and over?

Toast with almond butter.  Asparagus, but it's too expensive when out of season for every day, but I would if I could!

-cheese

-seafood (crab, shrimp, lobster, squid)

-blueberries and melons

-mashed potatoes and gravy

-toast smothered in butter

Hey meganr, we think alike - I was going to say toast with peanut butter! I have it twice a day.

Oatmeal is another, because you can add so many different things to it. I guess that's sort of missing the point of the topic. Oh well, lol.
Peanut Butter & Jelly
Protein Pancakes
Grapefruits
Spaghetti Sauce over Spaghetti Squash
cheeses
Green Beans
So many!

- Pomegranates, apples and cucumbers

- Mashed potatoes! Heck, french fries too.

- Cheese

- Chocolate

- Veggie Corndogs

- Mustard

- Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and soup

EGGS

I could eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Agreed, missreporter.

I love:

- EGGSSSSSS (poached, preferably)

- raw coconut meat

- almonds, pecans, cashews (something like total 3 oz/day...)

- apples

I'm something of a health freak when it comes to snacking. Anything that is processed just doesn't seem to be worth my calories. >.<;;

I love cottage cheese. Since I've been dieting, it's practically sent from the heavens. Lots of protein, calcium, 123 cals for 1 cup of nonfat, and it satisfies my overwhelming desire to consume cheese that has been known to destroy me.

I have to have an apple a day, preferably a Fuji. Really, just like the saying! Full of fiber and sweetness.... yum.

Keeping some dill pickles on hand to snack on after work when I'm preparing dinner has saved me from eating something dangerous more than once. I eat 2-3 a day!

Light yogurt. Every day at 10 am this little container of goodness staves off my snacking until lunch.

Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. I don't eat these regularly, but I am absolutely positive I could never tire of them, ever!!! Ever ever ever. 140 calories only, but they taste like so much more.

Beef, lamb, oatmeal, eggs, carrots, peanuts, PB, hummus
  • Honey Bunches of Oats Cereal.

I've haven't had any of this in about 6 months - I miss them all but am halfway to my goal.  I'm almost convinced they will taste much better when I get there.
