Any foods out there that you are still shocked about how high in calories they are?

So are there any foods out there that are so high in fat and calories that you just still can't believe they are? For instance my boyfriend really likes those Digornio for one pizzas. The cheese pizza has 720 calories and 30 g of fat!!! They are tiny pizzas too! About the size of a lean cuisine one! He gets the "traditional" crust ones so they are thick but can we say Eeeeew??? Also I love panera bagels! Makes me sad that the whole grain ones have 350 calories in them! Oh well i still had one for breakfast today lol!! Also most cookies. I hate when little things are super high in calories haha. Please share yours!

probably chinese food (like sesame chicken, one of my favorites).

my FH gets the grilled stuffed burrito from taco bell all the time. once i told him i found out it was 1,100 calories, he stopped getting it lol..

i still can't believe how high-calorie pasta is. like, 300-something calories for 1 cup? come on! that's like.. 10 noodles :|

The high calorie count on Starbuck's Coffees.  White chocolate mocha latte, 750 calories.

I just looked that up, and the grilled stuffed burrito (beef, which is the highest calorie-wise) is 680 cals (according to the online nutrition info).

hmm then i guess they lied on "the biggest loser".. i was watching an episode where they brought rocco dispirito in and he was saying a grilled stuffed burrito was 1100 cals. oh well.

Yeah, I think I remember hearing that too. I don't know - a lot of the things they said on that episode didn't really make sense. Didn't they also say how many calories were in 7layer dip - but only if you ate the entire bowl...

I think (as they often do) they went for shock factor over accuracy.

Not that I trust taco bell further than I can throw them, but I would hope that the nutritional info online is somewhat close to accurate. Maybe I'm just naive ;)

High Carbs - Preztels, pasta, pineapple, dried fruit.

raisins.. before I really started counting cals I would eat handfuls of rasins and think I was doing well and being healthy.. of course they are healthy but I was prob eating 500 cals worth at a time without realizing!  same deal with nuts and trail mix.

Avocado - 1 avocado has like 400 cals!

rice- especially when you get it out somewhere, the portions of rice they give you are easily 1,000 cals.

Yah it's because Rocco's a blowhard.  Screw him.

I forgot about soft pretzels. Auntie Anne's... *sigh*

They're either high calorie and tasty, or low-calorie, tasty, but loaded with chemicals......

I think salad dressing is rather OUTRAGEOUS and really RUINS all salads! This is why I make my own with healthy ingredients so I know exactly what's in it and how many calories there are.... You never know with the bottled stuff and the premade salads at restaurants & delis!! Yikes!

Cheese.

I always knew it was high-fat, but no idea that most are like... 110 (or more) cals for only an ounce.

One that really got me was Blue Box Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. I figured it would be high, but no idea that it was THAT insane.

I'm sure I'll have more OMG moments as I'm going along, but those were two of my firsts and the ones that still make me "sad". Laughing

Ramen noodles! Those packages at the store... 380 calories, 14g of fat, 26g of carbs and a whole bunch of sodium.

Im often surprised by the calorie count from menus on their healthy/ diet friendly options.  Guess in perspective to the rest of the menu but in general some are way up there in numbers.
