1. fruit (apples, pears, frozen fruit, grapes, strawberries, canteloupe)

2.  veggies (spinach, baby carrots, onion, broccoli, tomato)

3.  english muffins

Porridge, soybeans, chickpeas, dates, bread (four people in a household), dairy free yoghurts, milk and lactose free milk. Oh, and teacakes.

Oh gosh, I can NOT keep enough lettuce in the house. Also:

+ Berries. Strawberries, blackberries, cherries, blueberries, raspberries - I love my antioxidants. :)
+ Bananas. They either seem to disappear because I love them so much, or because they go bad too fast.
+ Salmon fillets. I could probably eat salmon every day and be okay with that.
+ Chicken breasts and ground turkey. I don't eat red meat, so any fish, chicken, or turkey that comes into my house is gone in a flash!
+ Green tea! 2-4 cups a day runs through teabags very quickly.
+ Onions and garlic. I use them both religiously in just about everything I make.
+ Pita bread. Mmmm....
+ Tuna packets! Tuna salad is such a great healthy snack, in moderation. It's a shame it runs through so much celery and onion, though.

Mushrooms, and zuchinis.

Shopping has become so much simpler since I started avoiding packaged food - my choices have slimmed down considerably (not buying fifteen different ways to prepare salt and gravy), so my groceries are frequently like this:

Half and half

Tortillas

Eggs

Bread

Apples

Coffee

Sometimes I feel a bit like a pensioner on a fixed income - who buys things that simply, for real?

Then again, the other essentials I buy in bulk and freeze, so I don't really "go through them" like water.

I am excited about spring and summer, though - more fresh veggies for me, boss!

apples, popcorn, water, little brown rice cups and protein bars.

kidney beans

cooked bone/skinless chicken

canned tuna and crab

salad bowls

eggs

cucumber

melon

m&s mushroom stirfries

tesco fatfree fromage frais (no carbs all protein!)

frylight

ketchup

cayenne pepper and black pepper

kraft 1000 island

sweet & sour sauce

i cud live on these and only these forever lol

Eggs

Mushrooms

Tomatoes

Bananas

Tuna

Beans

Potatoes

Teabags!

plain yogurt - I use it in everything!

boneless skinless chicken

pita bread

veggies and fruits of all kinds. I can't believe these used to mold in my veggie drawer before I could use them all - no chance of that these days!
