What are your force feeding tactic and tips?

1)  Make something you might actually want to eat.  Not a bowl of shredded cardboard...If you must eat shredded cardboard, sprinkle some sun dried raisins on top.

2)  If you feel like you're going to gag, repeat to yourself until you swallow successfully: "MIND OVER MATTER."

3)  Eat it QUICKLY.  The faster you eat, the less time your brain/stomach has to release chemicals that will inform your body that you're getting full.

4)  Realize that this is part of having a fast metabolism.  Too bad, don't be a whiner.

5)  You could be obese, and have to eat less.  That, would be terrible.  YET, it is harder to gain weight. For sure.

6)  "Don't say you can't, until you try." LIVE BY IT!

7)  Read replies to this topic, if anyone actually replies.

I have been trying so hard to squeese in that last 4 or 5 hundrend calories at the end of the day and I just take deep breaths, lots of tums, sometimes a little at a time helps, and stand up, if you sit down or lay down your stomach can't fit as much.

Can i add:

8) dont drink to much liquid (especially zero calorie liquids) with meals. They fill you up to quickly.

9) Light stretching or a walk (provided you are allowed) helps digestions after a meal.

10) If you really need to get a parent or someone to supervise each meal/snack and make it clear that you need to eat it all and you want them ensure you do.

11) Mind over matter. If you are recovering from an ed and find that voice screaming at you at meal times find a distraction whilst eating. Watch tv or listen to an ipod etc. When you are eating when distracted most people tend to eat more.
