Do Not Forget to Pray for our Country and Leaders

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

This is not by any means a political subject, but spiritual one.  The bible tells us to try the spirits whether they are of God...

I would just ask that we take notice of what direction we are headed as a nation and where God is in the direction we are headed.  We need to pray that God will direct our leaders in His will, not according to political views, nationality race or sex. 

As we study our Bibles daily we should take note of whether decisions are being made based on biblical guidance and not on political persuasion.  If you read the 8th Chapter of Jeremiah again, one might mistake this as being what we are living today.  We as Children of God must pray, pray pray.

When you pray each day, don't forget to pray for our country. 

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.  2 Chronicles 7:14

Mark - Thank You for standing kneeling with me in Prayer. 

I had felt back in September or October that this country will be tested and tried.  I told the group that "I just could not put my finger on it, but we will be shaken".  I had felt that it didn't matter who was elected into office - that this nation will go into a downward spiral of sorts.

That was a year ago.  I had no idea as to where this was going to take us and for how long.  But I knew that it was going to be BIG and will effect everyone in the nation.

When I am in prayer, I sense that we are not even halfway through the mess.  That there is more to come.  All I can say is Hold On To God.  Stay Strong in Your Faith.

Without question, our nation is stumbling, crashing, and being steadily lead away from godly principles and doctrines in the name of sensitivity and political correctness. We must love our fellow citizens enough to be aware and be in prayer!!!
