Forty Pounds Lighter!
I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it... this morning I got a new-low-weight on the scale of 225. It had a .8 after it, but that's still the first time I've been that low in a very very very long time... Pounds 30-35 went soooooooo slow, but the next five has just dropped off.

Congrats!! I am at a 4 year low too and it is hard to wrap the mind around it. So don't try to hard just revel in the feeling of success! :)
Way to Go! 40 lbs of sticking with it! ** pats on the back**
That is awesome kajikit! You are an inspiration! Do you have a fun reward planned?
Congratulations! What has made the difference? Have you upped your exercise or do you think your metabolism has been kick started? Whatever has made the difference for you I hope it continues and if you know, please share!

It seems that every now and then I'll have a BIG weightloss week (around four pounds) and then my body takes a couple of weeks to catch up to itself before it starts losing normally again. I'm sure that hormones and water retention has something to do with it... if you look at my chart, I'll bounce around a pound or two for a week or two and then it'll just go away and the chart drops steeply downwards for awhile.
Congrats!!!! That's great...I'm sure that will keep you motivated :)
Yahoo Kajikit! I am so happy for you! Slow and steady wins the race....and you are clearly a winner! I know you have had your frustrations along the way, but doesn't today feel like a great day? I bet you are feeling so much better. I agree about the sudden drops in weight-they come, and they are fabulous....but don't be surprised if it takes another week or more for the next drop, because our bodies do need time to adjust. Enjoy this special day, Kajikit-YOU DESERVE IT!
That is AWESOME!!!!!! Good for you - it's so hard to step outside of the familiar realm. I am facing a similar reality now, too. It's a little scary!! It's so encouraging to read of your continued success! Have a great day!
