If you go low-cal for the rest of the day, chances are that by tomorrow morning you'll be back at 600 (or more) by 10 am because you're ravenous.   It's better to eat a little more today ie. have your normal-size lunch and supper etc., and then start afresh the next day.   Sometimes eating a little more than normal (especially in the early part of the day) helps weight-loss rather than holding it back.  Don't worry too much.

When I need a really low cal/filling meal I do an egg white omlette. Just curious, did you go up to 600 cals because you had something decadent like a brownie? Or was it just too much of good food because you were hungry?

Don't get your panties in a bunch.

I go to the jonnybowden.com website often.  He sites new research studies on health and weight loss.  I just read an article about big breakfast eaters (600 calorie) and how they lost more weight than those who ate a smaller breakfast.  I'm sure it all depends on what kind of calories you are consuming, but go to that website and read the article for yourself, and don't sweat it.  Tomorrow is a new day.

I gave into mcdonald's cravings this morning so I was over 1,000 at 9am. I feel you!

Who's using bad language? Was the post's topic edited or are you actually offended by symbols? What, precisely, is your problem?

I did the same thing 2 nights ago, just added it up only 700 SCORE! lol

I agree with the first poster ... just eat a regular lunch and dinner and then watch tomorrow ....  One thing I've noticed for me is that if I eat protein and a bit of carb in the morning I am satisfied until at least lunch time and even then I'm not as hungry as I used to be .... my breakfast of choice now is a cup of low fat cottage cheese and a small serving of fruit .... easy to pack to work with me for after my am workout ... and it does fill me up (which surprised the %#$@ out of me!).

Thank you all for your advice.
