Really?
http://jezebel.com/5072249/study-shows-overwe ight-women-have-the-most-sex
So, is this accurate? And if it is, why is it accurate? Personally, I know that if I don't feel I'm thin, I don't want to have sex.
there's an old belief that overweight women have a larger appetite... for *raises eyebrows twice suggestively* not just tasty food... if ya know what ah mean ![]()
but i have no idea about its veracity
i prolly shouldn't look at that link since really i shouldn't be on this site at all ![]()
-----edit to add the n't in shouldn't ::giggles::
That's surprising.
*insert deep comment about insecurity and how it may tie in*
It's because women are so shallow.

We are hedonists and not afraid to indulge or overindulge :)
I disagree... I am the most into sex when i am feeling thin... on fat days...or fat months... i hate sex and don't want anything to do with it.... Right now I have gained weight because I quit smoking and I haven't had sex in a few weeks... I just can't do it... i feel like a beached whale..
Ok maybe giving tmi, but I find this true in my own walk of life. When I'm heavy I just go crazy for it. Thin and I'm not so interested. I think know this is why hubby is not too interested in me losing.
Ok how do i become into it when i am feeling heavy??? Someone please explain....!!!!!!
I want to be... I always feel fat .... Don;t you guys feel self-conscious?
When I feel bad about my body, it makes me feel way better about myself when guys show interest in me, and it's validating to me to have a guy want to hook up with me. When I feel good about my body, I'm like, "yeah I know, and YOU CAN'T HAVE IT."
The key word in the OP is Heterosexual.
I guess your right emily.... i just feel fat and I am like "eww".....
I have issues. lol![]()
soglialoro, I have the same thoughts on this as emily. I actually think way too much about my body when I'm thin. Like oh I hope my best is showing etc etc. When I'm heavy I figure I might as well put my mind on other things. S*x is more about the mind than body. I also remember that my hubby loves me thick or thin and feel so much closer to him knowing he loves me for me and not the sex object I am when thin.

I wondered how long it would take for someone to notice that.
Who else are guys supposed to bone at the end of the night when they go out to a bar or club? Got to get the stragglers.
some overweight women have sex to make themselves feel better about their weight. they think that men wouldn't have sex with them if they were that ugly. not talking for everyone, just saying some.
ok well i still feel self conscious but I appreciate all the points.. However I am not that overweight.. I am like 5'9 and 170. my bf is athletic and muscular and hott and i think that's my prob... i think he is better than me. I guess i need to realize obviously he loves me its been 2.5 years..

But most of the responders seem to be ignoring it. We are not talking about whether YOU have more sex when you are thin or heavy, or whether anyone else does for that matter, what are are talking about is that thin women prefer other thin women over men.

Whaaaa? No. That just means they only sampled heterosexual women, which is common in this kind of research. You can't draw that conclusion from the study.
It says that 5% more overweight women have heterosexual relationships than normal weight women. They do not discuss the frequency of sex of either group and they do not say how many women of either group report having homosexual relationships but the conclusion is that overweight women are more likely to be heterosexually active than normal weight women.
Now how significant is the study? Probably not very. If you didn't look, 92% of overweight women had had heterosexual relationships while only 87% of the normal weight women had had heterosexual relationships.
So can you conclude that overweight women have more sex? Yeah I guess, but it really only says that they have more heterosexual sex.

Right, but you can't conclude anything about homosexual sex or thin women, because neither of these things were studied.
