Is it okay to...

Quote  |  Reply

have really low-calorie popsicles every day?

Because low fat fudgesicles are like the only way I can ever have chocolate now.

and they only have 60 calories and 1 gram of fat. is that okay?

btw they don't make me exceed my daily limit or whatever :|

Why is this the only way you can have chocolate now?  And if you can fit it into your calories I'm sure it's fine.

because all the other chocolates are fillllleddd with unhealthy stuff.

EDIT: YES I AM AWARE THAT DARK CHOCOLATE IS ALL HEALTHY AND ANTIOXIDANTY AND STUFF

MMM I'M GONNA GO WITH THIS ANSWER BECAUSE I LOVE CHOCOLATE FUDGESICLES NOW 8)

well you can also make the argument that fudgesicles are filled with unhealthy stuff too :D

but if you really like them, eat them!  Just not too many at once =]

I have to have some sort of chocolate every day or I just sit around and think about it all night anyway.  I just work them into my calories.  My faves are the sugar free fudgesicles,  slow churn dreyer's ice cream (1/2 c. is 120 calories), or there are these Ghiridelli chocolate squares that are prepackaged and about 50 calories each.

I want to marry chocolate.

when i first started counting my calories i was still craving oreos so i fit it into my daily intake and i was still loosing weight so i assume by cutting my portion and making sure i saved room for my snack, my treats were ok (i know they are not the best for me but oh well) and now i actually dont eat them half as much as i used to. just because you want to loose weight dosnt mean you cant enjoy something just make sure your concious of the decision to eat whatever it is and your more likely NOT to binge on it.

Try to eat them really slowly... i found that alot of "low-fat" "healthier" options taste much worse when you really take the time to really taste them, really chemically. When i want chocolate i just buy the best chocolate i can get my hands on and eat a small piece (im lucky to be sated with one little piece) and let tiny bites melt in my mouth.... oh n my favorite chocolate "dessert" is dried apricots dipped in dark chocolate... amazing! 3 of em for like 75 calories ( i get the halved pited dried apricots)

trust me, i eat popsicles REAAALLLLY slowly... they still taste good ;)

I make chocolate pudding with 1 % milk or non fat milk. Not the sugar free either. I reduce the milk by about 4 tablespoons so it sets firmer. I put it in little pryrex cups that comes to 1/2 cup. Then I put on low fat reddi whip (not cool whip as that's nothing but chemicals)  The whole deal is about 100 calories. It's so nice and creamy and it's made with real milk.

I have this as my snack after dinner every other day.
