1600?
Has anyone actually lost weight with the 1600 calories that CC told them they would to lose weight?
Yup. I'm 5'1" and 147 lbs. (started at 160), and I eat 1600 calories every day. Actually, I usually eat 2000 on Saturdays, but I get a lot of excercise on Saturdays.

Has anyone lost that wait sedentary?
If you're sedentary, you're probably going to need slightly less calories to lose weight unless you're (a) male, or (b) very tall/heavy.
Maybe try 1600 for a week or two and see if you've lost weight?
Everyone is different - it would depend on your stats. I lost weight eating between 1450-1650, but I exercised. Is there a reason that you are not planning on incorporating exercise?
I used to lose weight on 1900 calories a day when I was waitressing, because it's a very active occupation. Later I lost on 1600 calories while being moderately active. Activity is vital for health, weight-loss concerns aside, so I'd suggest you think about a way to fit it in. Good luck!
yep. i prefer sticking to about 1300 but i do eat 1500-1700 sometimes. it is still less than i burrtn so i lose
