So, compared to my other skinny friends, I'm definitely more athletic and i can run more and lift more...

i go running and do all these strength exercises like 4 to 5 days a week..and they just do it casually whenever they feel like it.

it's not even like i eat A LOT.

so how come im not losing an effective amount of weight and they're the skinny ones?!

I read it's better to weigh more and be heatlhy than to be unhealthy and skinny.  Keep taking care of yourself.  It's super hard to feel motivated but don't just base your results on your size.

You may not be eating enough or you may be eating hidden calories somewhere.  Also keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat.

Keeping an active log of your food intake, how much you eat, etc will also be a integral part of meeting your weight loss goals.  Eating foods rich in vitamins and minerals will help with your goals.

Good luck!

Being healthy should be your main focus, not what u weight in comparison to your friends.  I just recently found out its not all about the scale and wished I had known that years ago.  My short story....Awhile ago I was on WW and lost a lot of weight, I got down to 168, their goal for me was 145.  No matter what I did I never lost that last few.  Eventually I got discouraged and gave up and put all the weight I lost and then some back on.  Recently I decided to give it another go, but this time a little differently.  I got my body fat % calculated (not the tank submersion which is most accurate, the one where they pinch your fat at several points on ur body....which when done properly is very accurate). And I did the math to figure out an approximate healthy weight for me.  New long term goal 175 puts me at a 22% body fat.  No wonder I never made the 145, I was trying to loose muscle, skin and bone.  Moral of the story.......do what works for you, if I had listened to my body and not what others were saying I never would have gotten discouraged and put the weight back on.

Good luck on your journey!
