I weigh myself officially once a week (Sunday) for the weight anaylsis on CC. However, being the naturally curious person I am, I don't understand is why my weight will be one amount and then 3 lbs more the very next morning! It is so fustrating because I log my weight on Sunday and then I am 2-3 lbs more Monday morning...so I spend my whole week getting back to where I was at the beginning of the week!! At this rate, I am never going to loose any lbs!!!!!!
Any advise would be great
Thanks!!

Body weight changes all the time, usually reflecting how well-hydrated you are. Foods high in salt, sugar, artificial sweetners, caffeine or alcohol, for example, can be dehydrating and lead to fluid retention (temporary weight-gain). Whereas f oods with more fibre & fluid help you to remove waste products from your body and this reduces fluid retention.
So if you want a more stable weight keep your sugar intake below 50g, your sodium levels below 2400mg, drink plenty of plain fluids and eat plenty of fresh vegetables.
gi-jane explained it perfectly.
I weigh first thing in the morning (after I pee but before I eat or drink anything). If find that I usually "weigh less" on Saturday and Sunday because I sleep longer. I perspire when I sleep and I imagine an extra hour or two of sleep leaves me a bit dehydrated (I am usually VERY thirsty when I wake up).
Some people weigh every morning and average the weights at the end of the week. I am considering doing this myself. I find it too easy to get caught up in the day-to-day fluctuations instead of focussing on the overall trend.
