What would you endure if it meant you'd reach and maintain your ideal weight (or goal weight)?
I thought this article was particularly interesting:

So what would you give up/endure?
Nearly a quarter (23%) would spend a week in jail - I'd do that.
23% would shave their head;- natalie portman looked killer with it b/c of her low weight. Put me down for this too.
22% would wear a bikini on TV; /shrug. Never been camera-shy.
21% would trade 10 years of life, according to the survey of 1,000 women 18 and older. - OK NO. Wait, which 10 years? I'd have to know more for this, like how those 10 years were gonna be. Miserable bed-ridden old age years with my teeth falling out? I might trade those.
Most (85%) would rather have an extra toe than 50 extra pounds. - Sure. I can hide that in a shoe. They don't make tummy-shoes. Alternatively I could have it cut off. Even if they cut off the weight I could still regain it. Can't regain a toe.
Why don't they just give up junk food and unhealthy eating? Or endure 4 hours a week at the gym. No need to go to jail or shave your head.
I go to the gym. That's about as much punishment and embarrassment my little self esteem can take. :)
I am not so sure about a week in jail. City jail? County? Federal pen? I could not take being someone's B**** even for a week.
I am really surprised so few women would shave their heads. Come on - hair grows! in my life i have had hair down to my butt and donated it to charity twice and I have been bald. I have also had a mohawk and just about every hair style imaginable. At 42 - thats a lot of hair styles. Shave me up Scotty!
Extra toes would actually be pretty useful. Your balance might be better and you could get a better grip when picking up small objects off the floor.
Bikini on TV? What channel? For me it would depend on who would see me. lol
Now what i want to know is how many women would do these things for money?
Is jump roping as good an exercise as running?
In terms of calorie burning, moderate jumping is about equal to running a 10-minute mile, although calorie burning is always a function of time... Read more
