Okay, so today I had
Breaky~an apple
Lunch~1 apple, and an orange
I am planning on JUST eating fruits and veggies for about the rest of the week. But, I get stuffed after about 400-500 calories, and cant eat anymore. And you guys say that you are suppose to have AT LEAST 1200 calories not to get into starvation mode. But I mean, I get REALLY stuffed from all this stuff and its like REALLY low calories. So I was just wondering if my body will still be like...in starvation mode?

if you are doing fruits and veggies, you should include some beans or other protein source!! What is your analysis looking like, all carbs, no fat, very little protein? It should be more than one color.
I have gone below 1200 in the past, but 400-500 is TOO low, way too low. You will be in starvation mode.

not enough calories or variety. Your body need to function and eating just fruit won't do it. Protien, whole grains and Fats are all needed in the right portions to keep your healthy!

dyingtobe- please dont take this the wrong way but what are you dying to be? If its "dying to be healthy" thats not the way. Fruits and veggies are awesome for you dear but thats just not enough food. There is no way your body can survive on that alone. NO Way. This is not a healthy approach to life. Iknow you dont want to hear this but you should talk to a dr. It seems like you are having a hard time with your body right now and I would really advise you to speak with someone that can help you. I would consider 2 apples and an orange a day as 2 snacks....not a days worth of food. You arent going to lose weight doing this. you are going to get sick by doing this. We are here for you and noone on here can control what you do. We have all been at that age and its tough but it sounds like you have the start of a problem and I think it would be very adult of you to realize this and seek some help. I only speak with love and hope. I know it seems like you are being healthy with the fruit and veggies but that just isnt enough to eat.
i agree with slappy. i hope you can find some help, this is not the way to go. and of course it is so hard to struggle with body issues and health, but you will gain so much more from having a healthy balanced diet than from starving yourself. take care lovely.
Hi all, I'm a newbie and have been where dyingtobe is right now. It's a dangerous road and i still struggle every day. being thin isn't worth dying for, trust me, being thinner doesn't make you happier, being healthier does. Have some deep breaths and some variety and you won't be so worried anymore. I had very poor body image in high school and did everything i could to lose weight. I only ended up damaging my heart. Take care and be good to yourself.
Hey everyone, thanks for the replies. And I am doing everything to be healthy. I am eating meals everyday, its just I have soccer tournament next week and the week after. So I am trying to get in super fit shape. I am exercising lots and trying just to eat really healthy to get in fit shape, and I thought that fruits and veggies would just make me healthier.
Trust me everyone I am eating. Lol I mean, I just pigged out! Lol I was having a depressing day so I bought some comfort food hehehe, I know its not healthy but it sure gave my body tons of calories!
But thank you everyone for your input. And I think I will stick with my calorie plan the site gave me, but just mostly try to fill it up with fruits and veggies, and use the rest for protein and calcium and stuff like that.

Dyingtobe..Hey, you need to eat.. If you don't eat.. Your body will feed off the fat you have for as long as it can. Then when it gets done with it. It will start to feed of muscles. My doctor told me it will feed off both a little from here and a little from there. YOU NEED to eat.. 400-500 a day is like that diet that actor did for a role in a movie i heard about on O-- You here about these actors losing weight putting on muscle mass and fat for these roles.. Then later on. They tell people what they put there bodies thur for a few million..
I mean come on now.. What role are you going for? Do you want the role of bad health or good health?????400-500 is not good.. Not even 800 is good. You need to get around 1200 in.. That is a good number. I try so hard to stay with in the 1100-1200 range. That is a battle in it's self. If i eat less that 500 i can be a B***ch for the day.. I can't see how you do it.. I think you need to go and see a doctor so they can help you get on a good eating plan..
I hope i didn't say any thing to upset you.. Remember when Oparh lost all that weight in 92 or was it 91.. Man was she small.. We watch her go from thin to fat right before our eyes That year.. That big head on that body.. YOU know what she did.. She slim fast and nothing else. Not a grain of food for 3 to 4 months to get into some jeans.. 3 days after that show. She never got into them again. SHE said she went out with the crew to Mc Donalds.. And gain 5 pounds with in that one day.. That one lunch. As so as she had it. The body said.. HOT damn.. SHE is Eating.. Grab on boys and the fat just started to jump and have a seat here and there. She said before long. That weekend came.. And she had gain 10 pounds.. Do you want that for yourself when you go back to eating right? You need to learn how to eat right and stop looking for the easy weight loss. There is no easy weight loss.. It all takes time and hard work...

You need nutrients and vitamins from other foods...eat more. Learn about density and food values.
Nothing wrong with veggies and fruits (I do 4 veggies and 3 fruits a day) but you need to get in the rest of the food (protein, calcium, fat (yes fat) and grains). If you are having a soccer tournament, now is the time to get some carbs in your system. I'm not a nutritionist but check with your coach. I'm sure they would give you some smart advise on what to eat before your tournament.

But dyingtobe, thanks for not getting defensive, and understanding that we care about you and just want the best for your help. You could have easily just stonewalled us out.
Girl, you're talking about getting ready for soccer. If you really want to be in tip-top shape for being as athletic as you can be (and, it sounds like from all the exercise, are), you really do need protein. A lot of protein; I'm sure that you know how athletes love their protein shakes and protein bars. And, protein does not come readily in either fruits or veggies. So, like everyone above me said, you definitely need a little more variety than simply fruits and veggies.
Besides protein, ditto what busyissie said about carbs being your body's favorite source of energy. You want to play the best you can play, right?
Hmm, as for feeling really stuffed, maybe if you are really eating so many fruits and veggies, you should be replacing some of those fruits with aforementioned proteins and whole-wheat products. You don't need to be on so much sugar.
