I am curious about what people do for a living, or if most people here are students or moms staying with kids...etc.

i am consultant.  I work in the Finance, Accounting and Risk Managment field.  That probably means nothing to most people.

just curious.

Cool dcgirl..sounds very professional....I can't speak for myself.

I will be graduating from University next yr with a Bachelors in Construction Management. I also work at a Structural Steel Company and want to become a Project Manager in charge of building buildings.

Yup that's me..that's about it..
Bank teller, working my way towards a nice promotion in the next few weeks (hopefully!!).
i do nothing.. i don't work.. and i don't have my volunteering anymore.. but i have plenty to keep me busy.. :)
I work and an art major in school
I'm a wife & mother of 3.  I do computer programmer for a living though - full time.  Well, add the office hours and the post-bedtime hours to reach the full time part.  Probably the people that post the most are the ones that are able to be home during the day.  Oh, and the ones who can't control themselves and are at a computer at work too.  ~~blushing~~
do you guys find there is something of a correlation between the amount someone makes and how healthy they eat?  I ask because when you go to the grocery store, the more expensive items are ususally the ones that are better for you.  Fresh fruit costs more than canned.  Also, I find that in cities or areas that are larger there is more variety and often more healthier choices.

Would you agree?
My title is Sales Coordinator, but my duties are more like an executive assistant for 5 managers for a food service company (restaurant food supplier).  I love my job!  I like the company and I like the town I live in.
full time college student,

not working right now
poo - I would be in the later of your two catagories :)
crazyflute77 - what kind of art would you like to practice after school?

I work at the local tax collectors office-we register cars and tags, collect property tax, we do occupational licenses, and do hunting and fishing licenses all for the state of florida. Great 8 to 5 job but boring! I've always done retail so like the holidays and weekends off! :) Oh and I bake cookies and sell them online as a part-time hobby/job. I like the spending cash it gives me!
I'm a librarian at a private boarding school.

We don't have a library yet, so I'm trying to set one up. It's more stressful than I thought it would be.
I'm an engineer working on FEMA floodplain maps.
I am a legal assistant in an Elder law firm.

I also go to school part time and I'm hoping in a couple years to enter medical school.
dcgirl~ I am a painting major but I am interested in learning the sculpture, metal works, and fashion as well. the more I paint the more I feel like two dimentionality of a painting medium is too narrow for me I dance too so that might incorporate in my art as well

about the income and the quality - I definitely agree with you. you can find what to eat for almost every budget, even for no budget at all. you can also find cheaper veggies and fruits but they are often full of pesticides.
I work in a call centre, household insurance claims

it can be interesting, my last day is day after tomorrow for lots of reasons
I have a very glamourous job at an oil refinery. My title is Admin. Assistant/Special Projects. I hope to get back to nursing school very soon. We moved a few months back, so that has delayed things.

I'm a minister in the United Methodist Church.
