should you eat 6 200 cal meal a day or four 300 cal meals a day. i eat breakfast and lunch only maybe 400 cal and than i make the rest up at dinner so i am so full i don't eat for rest of night. Dayt three of eating dinner at 6pm with son and only water and tea after.

i have dropped three lbs in two days but i still n eed to lose 7.5

what do your meals lool like??

I think.. whatever works!

I usually vary my meal times/ cal amounts.

While Im at uni:
100cal breakfast ("Im late for class!!!!!" *grabs an apple*)
350cal lunch
150cal Snack
The rest spent on dinner.

Weekends (work long shifts)
100cal breakfast ("Im late for work!!!!!" *grabs a banana*)
250cal lunch
200cals in snacks
The rest on dinner

And the rest:
350cal Breakfast (mmm.. a real breakfast)
300cal Lunch
The rest on dinner and snacks.

So.. I usually hover around those amounts. Snacks at work (fruit, carrot sticks, jelly etc) keep me from hitting the vending machines!

But really.. whatever works for you. Pour moi, my plans all go to hell in a bucket come TOTM, and Im pretty flexible. If I feel like I want a snack, I have a snack! saves me from going mad and eating a full box of cookies later on.

I also vary my cals around excercise amount, totm, and special occasions. Anywhere from 1200min to 2000max.
I agree with Jef - if it's working for you, stick with it.  If it stops working, try something else!

In general here's how I eat...

  • Breakfast - 125-150 (fruit)
  • Snack - 100-200ish (depends on how late I had breakfast...sometimes no snack)
  • Lunch - 300ish
  • Snack -  150-200
  • Dinner - 300-500
  • Snack - Green Tea (no calories)
I like to eat a lot.  If I eat large meals, I'll still be tempted to snack, so I just break up my day so I don't feel like I'm depriving myself of eating.  I work from home, so it can be difficult to be two steps from the kitchen and not eat :)

I'm glad what you're doing is working for you.  Keep it up!

I also agree do what works for you, everyone has different metabolisms and schedules, so if it's working and you can stick to it, I say go for it :)

mines pretty much the same as kimanne's but I usually have another 100-200 cal snack in the evening...

i have this thing i have to go to in 11 days..and im trying to lose at least five pounds....so plz help if you can lol
