So, I just officially finished my senior year of high school & I literally don't know what to do.
I've always been EXTREMELY involved in school. There was constantly an extracurricular meeting to go to, or a test to study for [I took all ap/honors courses.] I finished my last ap exam today & I'm stuck. I don't even remember what I used to do in my free time haha.
But the problem is, I can tell this is going to lead to boredom eating.

I love crafty things, but I can't find the cross stitch I'm in the middle of [been working on it for literally five years haha]

What ideas do you have for me to occupy myself?
I'm feeling extremely lazy & just want to relax, yet not be bored.
Thanks!

Get a group of friends together for a twice weekly bike ride, walk in the park, or game night. Maybe movies and healthy pizzas/salads.

Also, look on your local craigslist for activities and events in your area.

Go to the library and read!

Make new friends and go walking with them in the morning (a new ritual!)

volunteer. write a letter. fill up waterballoons and throw them at pedestrians.

I second the fill up waterballoons idea!

Hah.  So, I just moved home from college a little over a week ago, and I've had the SAME PROBLEM.  I'm a physics major, so my life is a constant state of stress, basically, when I'm at school.  And suddenly I was home, alone, with a house full of unhealthy food.. yeah, not good, haha!  Anyway, a few days ago, I went and found some felt, and made a pillow.  It took me like two days to do, and it realllllly was a good distraction:  it requires creativity, and a brain, but you don't really have to work or think too hard, you know?  ;)  Anyway, I just cut up felt, made cool designs, etc.. made it up as I went along.  I think I'm going to have to start a new one... I'm thinking of making a bunch of cool ones, and then give them to family members for Christmas!  That way, I'm entertaining myself now, saving money on presents, and getting it out of the way later!

Good luck!

Get a part-time job. Hang out with friends. Road trip.
Do you know how to crochet? I love to do it because it keeps your hands busy but you can still watch TV or talk with someone. Plus, there are lots of great gifts that can be made!
