Goal weight/Target weight

Quote  |  Reply

Well I hit my goal weight today :)  I wanted to get to 160.0 lbs, and as of today I am 160.0 lbs.  So I happily entered it on my weight log, and here's what shows on my account home page:

Last Entry: 160 lbs (Jul 25 2010)
Goal Weight: 160 lbs (Aug 01 2010)

Can anyone explain why the calorie coach says:

Your target weight is expected to be reached on Jul 31 2010.

Doesn't it realize that I reached my target weight?!  I'm just curious!! Laughing

Firstly CONGRATULATIONS!!

The reason for this is that the goal weight date is based on the trend line. If you look at your trend line and number i guess its not actually at 160 (the trend line NEVER worked for me because i consistently went down, never up so I ignored it).

So the goal date is the date the trend line is expected to reach 160... as far as I know. I'm just guessing :D

Wow! Congratulations...you look terrific!

To add to the info about the trendline...I live and die by it because I weigh myself daily. I really need the morale boost of seeing the losses, and the trendline helps me through the little gains.

Also, thanks for putting up before and after pics. Seeing people like you succeed keeps me inspired.

Eh, don't worry about the coach...let us be your cheer leaders!

I am thrilled for you! Every time someone hit's their goal weight on here, it gives those of us still working towards it, more motivation. Revel in your success!

Congratulations!! That makes me smile. :)

A Week of Clean-Eating Dinners
I’m trying to give my eating habits a little cleanup these days. It’s easy to pay close attention to what I’m eating on the weekends when I’ve got tons of time on my hands to prepare delicious meals, but during the week when time is less available I feel the pull of convenience foods for their, well, convenience. Here’s what I try to live by when all I have is 30 minutes to prepare a "clean" meal.
