can someone explain the burned vs consumed?

I just started using this app an I have logged 2 days worth of food. When I look at my analysis it says 1,600 (in that range) burned and however many consumed calories. In reality I only burn about 400 calories a day... I don't understand...?

first of all you burn far more than 400 calories per day -- you burn calories 24/7-365.

Burned is all the calories you've burned -- this is based upon your lifestyle and activity level with any exercise calories added in.

Consumed is all the calories you have taken in -- food, drinks, perhaps supplements.

You look pretty young, I'm guessing you burn more than 1600 calories per day, as well.
