What is the trend line on my weight log. Its a green dottd line. I don't understand it and I can't find anything written about it.
Is it the reccommend weight loss rate? Or is it what CC thinks I should lose based on my calories and activity logged?
at three weeks I am ahead of my trend but I don't know what that means.
it is a trend based on your previous 10 or so actual weight logs.
VFT is right... and I love the trend line, because even on days when I go up a little my trend line shows my true progress is still coming down based on averages... it's what i use to truly judge my progress and consistency.
It's basically a rolling average. If you weigh every day, it helps smooth out the "bumps" from daily variations. If you only weigh weekly, it's not really that much help, because if you're losing, by the time you get 10 weekly weights, the average will be much higher than your real weight.
