I am ***annoyed!!!!!

Quote  |  Reply
I just sprained my ankle walking as a warm up before by cardio-core work out.  I need to burn the calories/build muscle, but right now I am sitting here in pain and propped up with an ice pack!!!!!

Arrrgggg!!!!! That sucks! hopefully it's a mild sprain and will heal in a week! Same has happened to me. Say hello to your good friend the swimming pool. Tongue out

"OUCH!!!" Surprised

THAT is AWFUL!!! Sorry!!!

{{{Hugs!}}}

Maybe...Just possibly...? Pain raises blood pressure, so, it should burn calories, too!!! WinkLaughing

Mollymouser loves to 'rant'- she says that burns extra calories! Surprised

Maybe you would enjoy going over to her 'Diet Rants' thread- you've really got something to 'rant' about!!! Burn what calories you can...??? Lol! Cool

Hope the pain subsides soon, ranting would be more fun for calories!, and that you're back up and laughing about the irony of it all! What a story- trying to do good and knocked down instead! Laughing

Take good care of yourself! It's the fastest way to recover! WinkLaughing

Just checking-- Feeling any better??? Laughing
thanks for checking- I appreciate it a lot.  Went to work, (I am a medical secretary)  I asked our resident orthopedic surgeon and bless her heart, recommended a good brace to wear when I exercise, and recomended a physiotherapist  for my foot so hopefully it won't happen again.   Right now, I am not in pain.  Am planning to swim before work tomorrow.  I am just worried about something stupid like this throwing me off my course, and I really appreciate the support you guys offer this middle aged, overweight wanna be athlete  LOL.

Good!!! Glad to hear that!!! Laughing

I'm a middle-aged, overweight wanna be gym rat!!! LOL Wink

Overweight part is clearly better, middle aged part just FEELS better, LOL!!! Surprised

I love your pic! Wish you had a profile, and told what the lovely flowers were for! Wink

Thanks for responding, I really hated it for you! Laughing

The flowers were centerpieces (daffodils and baby's breath) for my mom's 80th birthday party.
