Burn Calories

Can anyone tell me why if I add 100 calories to my activity log why does it not increase my total burned calories for the day by 100.  It only adds 66 calories.

Because it assumed that you were burning a lower rate of calories during that time. When you logged your exercise, it removed the calories it assumed you would have burned during that time had you remained sedentary, before adding in the calories that you actually burned.
