CalorieCount forbids postings that support an unhealthy diet, fitness, or lifestyle, and I'm afraid that the routine you are describing falls into this category.

You daily deficit (the difference between what you burn and what you actually eat) is way too large.  Also, your body is in starvation mode.  When this occurs, the "usual mathematics" of energy in/energy out do not apply since your body will try desperately to preserve itself. And this process is not only dangerous, it is self-defeating because this process of self-preservation will cause the metabolism to slow.

Please, you need to both eat more (healthy, nutritious food) and exercise less.

See naturalthinmint's (duplicate) thread in Weight Loss.

thanks cat girl ..My lack of knowledge when it comes to fitness and other things is my downfall. In my other thread with this topic. The comments left me well informed. And i now realize I should of been subtracting the calories I burned form my actual intake. i feel bad for not having known that so now I understand why I was going in that route. it was not my intention to under eat or put my body  into starvation mode I just didnt have the knowledge I needed to actually set up a good exercise and food plan

Sorry if I came across as really harsh :) I actually know from my own experience how devastating the cycle of undereating and overexercising can be, and your post concerned me from this perspective. However, if this was not your intent, I'm thrilled for you!

I'm glad that you are going to pursue a healthy and sustainable plan that will leave you both happy & fit!

Thanks Cat-Girl Oh I didnt take it as such. I'm glad you did post. What you said was truthful and honest and I can appreaciate that.

I hope you enjoy your Christmas As Well..

Bless.

My guess is you are gaining muscle weight, not fat!

I don't think she's gaining muscle on such a low calorie diet and given her exercises.  Most women don't gain muscle particularly quickly in the first place and if they do, they are probably lifting with moderate-heavy weights.  I thought that Jillian Michaels workouts were more circuit based and geared towards burning fat rather than building muscle.

You are working out too much and not eating enough. Throw in a protein shake everyday.

She probably needed that advice two years ago... OP today.

oh beejeeseez that scared the CRAP outta me.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
