Cardio with a chest/head cold?

Is it harmful to do cardio work if you have a bit of a cold?  I have a small head and chest cold right now and I feel well enough to work out, but I was wondering if it would inhibit my immune system from fighting this cold.  I am slightly congested and have a cough and have to keep clearing my throat because of fluids.  Any thoughts?

Rule of thumb is that the dividing line is your neck - head cold okay, chest cold bad.

 Walking is low impact, and generally not energetic enough to be a significant strain on your system, so if you feel like getting in some cardio despite the chest cold, walk around the block a couple times. Should be enough to boost your burn a bit, and not enough of a strain to impact your immune system.
