I've tried two different kinds of dancing as exercise:
Zumba (Latin-inspired dancing)
Go-Go Dancing (It makes me think of faster-paced Burlesque)
So far I love both of them! What kind of dancing exercises do you like to do?
i just got a bellydancing dvd but not tried it yet, looking forward to it. I'm hoping I can learn a sexy dance for my bf!
That's what I was hoping when I got my Go-Go Dancing DVD, then I learned I have noooo rhythm so it's just for fun. =)
I started ballet classes two months ago. I find it amazing form of exercising. I love the music and I find I am burning lots of fat! I put the cd on and I practice for one hour and the next day I have lost 1 pound!

Zumba! I love it. It's my exercise plan. I've lost 30 lbs so far! I'm not what you would call a dancer but I do have rhythm so I have a blast :)
I've taken hip hop classes and those were SO fun, and I also love zumba! When I was much younger I took ballet, tap, and jazz, but I only remember loving jazz (I was very young, and then my family moved, so I gave it up).
I have bellydanced for a little over seven years now :) My troupe and I have performed in restaurants, at festivals, for charity events, etc. LOVE IT.
Modern jive, tango, lindy hop, zumba and bellydance...love them all
I'm a belly dancer too. I love it and have been doing it for the past 6 years. Professionally for the last 2. I dance 3-6 hours per week and find it lo be a great form of exercise
