Hi I'm using run keeper. It marks how many calories I lose and how far I'm working just by gps!! It's the best app ever, free too!

Couch to 5K is a great one for building up your running, starts from the very basic, walk 1 min jog 30 secs all the way up to 5k improving your fitness and burning cals :)

Use Nike + GPS. No calibration and it works for any distance exercise. (Bike, running, Skating, Walking, ect)

iPersonal Trainer is a super app. I've known many people who sang its praises to me last year and have just started using it myself. The app targets exactly what is good for your age, gender and goals. You can pick and choose what you want to do any given day or just let it direct you. It even let's you listen to music while you are working the routine. Keeps track of everything from BMI to measurements. It's a great companion to calorie count.
