Pouch Blaster...

Quote  |  Reply
Hey there,

I am not really looking to loose a ton of weight... I just want to lose this pouch that I've got going on here.  I've tried everything and my belly remains the same...

Any suggestions for exercises that work in blasting away belly flab?

well i am overweight now, but until i had kids i had a pretty nice body. I always had The Pouch tho. I mean i could still wear bikini's and stuff but The Pouch was still there. I would do some cardio, maybe like 30 min 3 times a week, and good old fashioned crunches. I would do like 200 in the morning and 200 at night. If thats all you have to lose that routine alone she help alot
Try this yoga move...get on all fours, exhale all the air out of your lungs, suck in your navel as much as possible, hold for 40 seconds taking little breaths went you need air.  No reps but you can do it off and on throughout the day.
Hundreds of crunches won't target your belly fat because you can't spot reduce.  Make sure that you're doing some moderately intense cardio at least three times a week, and strength training your entire body at least twice a week.  And, of course, you have to keep tabs on your calorie intake.  Unfortunately, you can't dictate where on your body the fat is going to disappear from first.  In my case, the abdomin was the first place I gained the weight, and the last place to lose it.
Agreed.  My first place to gain and last to lose.

I think for my body I have to lose the highest percentage of body fat possible with diet & exercise before i'll lose the pouch.

sucks.
Try planks....  heres how.
