Realistically, is there anything I can do to reduce cellulite?

For some reason, I'm only 23 and I have cellulite.  You can't see it in dim light or anything, but it's obvious in dressing rooms, or if I squeeze or clench.  It's mostly at the bottom of my butt and sides of my thighs.  I have about 20-22% body fat and I'm 5'6" and 120 lb or so, so it's obviously not due to my being overweight- plus, I don't even want to lose weight.

I squat and lift weights in other ways with my lower body regularly.  I can't tell if I had more cellulite before I started lifting, because I was also so young before I started lifting.  Just please tell me there's SOMETHING I can do.  I want to be able to wear a swimsuit in my 30s and actually look good.  My mom always had lots of cellulite, but she has never done any strength training- she told me that she only did running and never lifted weights.  So I'm not sure if I'm going to get the exact same result as her (but I'll be very upset if I do).  I know there are more important things in the world, but I don't go on calorie counting websites to talk about them.

Is there ANYTHING i can do?  Nobody flame me for having an ED because I don't even want to lose weight.

wow how has this poor girls question about cellulite turned into you women telling her to dump her boyfriend or him becoming disfigured.

Stoplickingmyhand, i agree with you, i have similar stats and its very frustrating working hard to take care of yourself and be slim and still feel like you want to cover up because you have bumps on thighs and bum, im suffering the same. And you saying your boyfriend is good-looking is not his fault, i guess these women want you to dump him and date an ugly guy who is grateful of having any woman at all, but that still wont help the fact that you want to fix yourself for you.

But as much as ive looked i dont think any of these spa treatments work, they usually just reduce water retention and smooth the skin for a few days which is why they tell you to come back weekly to keep the effect. I guess we just keep eating healthily and working out and praying. Good luck

cellulite...who cares

dudes don't notice it anyway

Because this isn't the first time she's posted body dysphoric disordered thinking posts.

read her other posts.  she's concerned with her whole body and her boyfriend is judgemental and causing her to be insecure.  I bet she's absolutely gorgeous just the way she is!!!!

FWIW....I have really reduced the look of the cellulite on my legs by reducing body fat to about 19% and doing weighted glute bridges and deadlifts in addition to super hard butt lifting pilates 5 days a week for 15 minutes a shot.

The weights add volume and the pilates work those deep core muscles and the deep glute muscles.  Combined, it really does wonders for the bum and back of the legs.  I have only just started pilates (that focuses on the butt), but in 3 weeks, my butt is rounder and lifted for sure.  The weights alone were not doing that.

Is he gay?

I personally feel blessed to be around my husband, but I know it goes both ways.

I really think you should get help with your self-esteem, SLMH. I think either you lionize your boyfriend too much, or you think too little of yourself.
