1. do you have a mile/minute/calorie target for your workouts? Yes on cardio I always do an hour on as high resistance as absolutely possible. At least 600 calories per hour.

2. what % of your workout is devoted to cardio? strength? I think 50/50. I always do an hour cardio and I try to do an hour weight.

3. do you stretch? Always. Can't run without stretching.

4. do you foam roll? When I am injured as at the moment with an awful shin splint. Not when I am not injured.

5. do you go to a gym to workout? At the moment yes. I used to run a lot outside but have a shin splint at the moment and just recovered from a bad muscle rupture in my calf so been a lot of gym last 6-7 months.

6. whats your favorite form of cardio?  Running all the way. Sucks with the injuries from overuse after a couple of years though.

7. what is your least favorite cardio? I don't think I have a least favourite cardio, I like most cardio.

8. music or silence? When running outside I want silence. At the gym I need music.

9. alone or group exercise? ALONE. Can't stand group excercise. Would never go to an aerobics workout.

11: days a week you exercise? 5-6

12. number of minutes logged per week? logged..? on this website..? Have no clue

13. best  benefit that you get from exercise? A nice body ;) The ability to eat more without gaining weight. Makes my mood a lot more stable. Self confidence.

14. how do you motivate yourself on the "i dont wanna" days? Imagine how fat you'd get if continuing not working out forever. usually that makes me work out EVERY single day, though I had to stop because I over trained and felt awful from it..

15. am or pm workouts? AM no doubt

Original Post by chrissy1988:

1. do you have a mile/minute/calorie target for your workouts? - NO

2. what % of your workout is devoted to cardio? strength? - I would have to say 70% strength (full body heavy weights) and 30% cardio (INTENSE conditioning and/or LISS after lifting).

** Although when I am lifting, I definitely get a cardio component. I don't do the traditional style of lifting with doing a set of the same exercise, resting 3 minutes, doing another set, etc.. I will do a pushing exercise (bench or military press), rest 90 secs, do a lower body exercise (squats or deadlifts), rest 90 secs, do another set of  push/90, another set of lower/90, etc.. Then after I finish with the lower/push exercises I switch between my pull (pull-ups or barbel rows) and tricep exercise (weighted dips or skullcrusher-close grip superset). The constant switching between exercises in combination wit the heavy ass weight I am using has my HR is up the whole lifting session and by the end I am DRENCHED in sweat and exhausted. However, since I am switching between opposing muscle groups, my strength isn't effected. It really is a much more efficient/effective way to train. The ONLY negative is that it is REALLY hard to do conditioning afterward.

3. do you stretch? - YES.. But I HATE doing it. It is equally as painful as it is mind-numbingly boring.

4. do you foam roll? - HELL YES

5. do you go to a gym to workout? - I split workouts between home and work (I am a trainer)

6. whats your favorite form of cardio? - Prowler sled training or hill sprints

7. what is your least favorite cardio? - Long distance running

8. music or silence? - Silence

9. alone or group exercise? - Alone

10. favorite workout video? - Don't have one

11: days a week you exercise? - 5

12. number of minutes logged per week? - 4 hrs/240 minutes

13. best  benefit that you get from exercise? - Good health/stress relief

14. how do you motivate yourself on the "i dont wanna" days? - Since I am a trainer, my body is a marketing tool. I remind myself that no one is going to want training from a fat trainer.

15. am or pm workouts? - PM

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
