What's your favorite exercise?

Just for fun and to give each other some ideas:

What do you look forward to doing to burn some calories?

I love to run!!! Outdoors that is and sometimes on a track 5-8 miles at least three times a week.

I don't think this is going to give anybody any ideas necessarily, I'm not too adventurous.  But I also LOVE to run.  And I like weight lifting a lot.  I also love to play rec league volleyball, although that isn't really the best exercise sometimes.  haha.

I'm also a runner.

On the treadmill, though.  I might like to run outside one day.  Right now I just can't leave the kids alone in the house, so I have to make do.

Dancing and soccer! Laughing

LOVE trail running - gets me outside, I can take different trails to break up the monotony (I'm lucky enough to have a place within 15 minutes that offers a good variety of terrain & trails), and the steep hills help tone the belly.

Trail running, hiking, and soccer. I'm trying to learn to cross country ski and if I ever get decent at it, I know I'll love it too. Commonality? Being outside and moving. A win-win situation!

I really love biking, tennis, and soccer. They're easy and fun. Though I'm starting to like it/get more used to it, I've never really had a thing for running. I just don't like running without a purpose (such as getting to a soccer ball or a tennis return) so I've never been really excited about it. I will admit that running is great exercise though, so I do force myself to do it nearly every day.

Dancing is far and away my favorite calorie burner.

Swimming and hiking come in a tie for second.

Jogging is great but I absolutely just love to swim. Also, if you have access to a trampoline you have to try it. I love to bike, dance like an idiot to music, and defiantly kayak! Canoes are fun to but kayaking you can just paddle off to wherever you want. I look at those as fun more then exercise.

Bicycling and swimming are the most fun, and you don't get as hot and sweaty.

weights and rowing

I like the treadmill

I like my morning stretches , sit ups & gluteus squats ,calf raises &yoga&  kick boxing .They protect my  back & if I do them long enough they will insure I get thet "BOD" I wished I could have. Check out my PICS I got a long way to go.
I really enjoy lifting weights and step class. I think I'll enjoy running more when I'm not so bad at it lol I'm building up my endurance though, slowly but surely
I love working out with a kettlebell and running!

I had the same reaction.  I am drenched when I take a spinning class.

Running, far and away.  Preferably outside on trails, but indoor track is good, too.

I absolutely love my DVDs!  Especially the Tae Bo and belly dancing!  I also enjoy swimming and tennis.  I really wish I could get into running...it's always been difficult for me.  Was it difficult for you guys to begin running or have you always been runners?

It was difficult in the beginning.  Progress was slow.  The first time I ran a mile straight through I thought I was going to black out.  That was months ago.  Now, I rip through 4 miles with no problem, after a 2 mile 10% incline walk to warm up.
