Melkor "Hey, crow away - we're all due a little brag time now and then. ( Which reminds me, I should change out the runner recruitment drive with something new, so if anyone want to have a brag thread up top, make one ;) )"

So here we go.

Since starting weight lifting vs doing cardio all the time - all though I've gained weight due to poor eating and stress and stuff I've managed to drop back from a size 14 to a 12 and the 12s are getting baggier every day.

So what is your personal achievement that you want to share!!  Brag it up folks!!

I beat my mile time :) just happy I'm not at 15min per mile! I'm now 10 min per mile and I want to make that 8min.
My non-scale victory is being called thin by a family-friend today. I haven't lost weight at all, only grown, so I guess maintenance is working!!!

Anyway, scale hasn't moved which has been discouraging, but this was really nice :D
Sweat baby!!! I have never been much of a sweat-er but today I worked out so hard I was dripping, it felt GOOD
First of all congrats to everyone, as for me I have been doing powerlifting since December 2011 and my brag would be about my one rep maxes. Dead lift 460lbs, bench 315lbs, and squat 365lbs. I never thought any of it would have been possible in the shape I was in but it was and I even lost weight doing it. Now I am switching it up to a body building routine to lose even more and get leaner.

Wow thats good.I think I`d have to put on 30 pounds of muscle to that.(just a guess)

I did 100 burpees [w/ pushups].

I thought I couldn't, but I did it anyway.

I'm impressed.   I do burpees, and know how hard they are.

I can actually see my abs in the mirror now. Very chuffed :-)

Abolishing cellulite!  i've always been on the slim side but even as a teenager I had awful cellulite and I hated wearing bikinis.  Now, I actually weigh more because of the muscle, but I'm virtually cellulite-free (unless if i squeeze...but when am I going to be squeezing my bum in public? ;)

Wow, I don't know you but I think I love you based on your username alone... That's wonderful.  i just recently discovered newly minted cellulite on my arse... Gotta keep moving!

Today I reached quite the milestone on the treadmill. I did 10 miles in 65 minu !!! !
Well at begging of the yr I got some jeans that were a uk size12/10 and I can if in to them now!! Was a UK size 20 in January!!
Im not a pro but i managed to run/jog/brisk walk 5 miles in 44min. With a total of 4.5 miles in 50 minutes. And my knee didnt go out! Thats a first. I can jog for too long with out my knee giving me problems lol
Oops i meant 5.5 miles in 50 minutes :)

I swam my first mile for the year (66 laps) in an hour last night which is not bad for a 55 year old guy with a frozen shoulder who is 30-40 lbs over weight. I plan to go back to the pool tonight for mile number two.  Wish me luck.

Was a size 11 January 1st post baby today I am in a size 5 same size I wore when I graduated in 2003! :)!

I've lost 12 inches off of my weight since April! <3

Today for the first time I ate under my 1200 calorie limit and I feel good. I try to walk daily for atleast one mile as long as work and school do not interfere. I've lost 1.8 lbs in my first week. I'm back into a size 7 jean (with a muffin top mind you) but I only intend to lose what is holding me back. I'd walk more if my 185 lb English mastiff didn't get so tired on the mile. Gotta keep my chin up and my healthy lifestyle change. Can't wait to be back down to atleast 105 - 110 lbs.

Yesterday I played a full hour of full court, five on five basketball. I have not done that in years!! Biggest victory so far!

People are referring to me as an athelete - I'm 57 and running the Spartan Race here in Calgary tomorrow!!! YayCool

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
