I love it...I love it...I love it. I worked out for an hour and it didn't even feel like that much time had passed. I had to make myself stop so i could get stuff done around the house. I will be using it for a long time. I am glad i got it. was worth every dime:)

wii active is great think its the only time i have looked forward to exercise ,wii fit got so tedious ,was thinking i might use my wrist weights as the resistance band already seems to have lost its resistance,im in the uk does anyone know if they do a wireless nunchuck before i strangle myself lolLaughing

They do now have a wireless nunchuck for the Wii. I got one off of eBay for about $20. I've seen them at BestBuy for about $25. I haven't received it yet but hope it works as good as a wired one because I totally agree that the cord really gets in the way when trying to work out.

Also, you can buy resistance bands of different strength at just about any sports & fitness store. There is an Academy Sports near my house that sells them.

Has anyone had a problem with the Wii Active?  I am really enjoying it, but in truth today I quit halfway through because I was getting too frustrated.  I will do an exercise perfectly, and then the next time it comes around suddenly I'm getting "follow me", and no matter what I do I can't get it to work.  It's not the batteries, and I'm convinced I am pointing the remote/nunchuk in the correct manner.  Any feedback would be appreciated.

i used to have problems with it registering my lunges and squats.  i had to move my sensor bar from the top of my tv to the bottom, then i made sure nothing was blocking the sensor bar in any way.  remember also to place the nunchuck correctly in the strap.  face down- facing out right (if placed on your right thigh...midway on your thigh).  now i have zero issues of registration problems.

i LOVE this game.  in less than 2 weeks so far of my 30 Day Challenge workout, i have dropped 8 lbs!!! on the HARD intensity.  its so addictive, and im always surprised its over when its over.    i also bought an extra set of the active accessory and use both bands while working out.  it adds more resistance.  definitely going to be buying a wireless nunchuck next.  this game is beyond fantastic.  highly recommended. HIGHLY!

You can extra resistance bands anywhere, Walmart has 3 for $10, all of different resistance.

I have problems with the nunchuck registering my movements. The leg strap is worthless. The wireless nunchuck helps out but it also does not register every movement.  I like the lunges, water sports and tennis but the nunchuck NEVER registers my movements. It is very frustrating!

You have to make sure you are inserting it into the leg strap correctly.

The leg strap is worthless, it does not stay on during exercises regardless of where I place it (on skin, on clothes). Once I start moving, it falls off.

I received Wii Active for Christmas this year, and began using it in the start of January.  I'm getting married in the beginning of July and at the time I was tipping the scales at about 244 pounds.  I'm a tall woman, and have been active throughout my life, but an undiagnosed thyroid problem, left me quite overweight.  (then depressed about it, and lazy).

I decided to start with the 6 week challenge on the easiest setting-as I had been quite sedentary prior to starting this new routine.  I didn't expect to seem many results, as I had tried p90x and destroyed myself for 5 weeks before giving up (and losing 6 pounds).  That being said-you can see that I am strong, but not active.  After one month of doing Wii Active, I lost 18 pounds.  I was very excited.  I enjoyed my routine and felt great about myself.  By the end of the 6 weeks, I was getting outside more, riding my bike again, my depression was gone, I felt so full of energy, and I felt motivated to eat better, and to get off the couch.  I had also lost a total of 22 pounds.

I immediately started the 6 week challenge again on the moderate difficulty and completed that program as well.  I lost an additional 16 pounds.  I have completely made this workout a part of my daily routine.  I start my day with it, and it gives me a boost of energy that lasts all day.  I am now on my 6 week challenge on difficult, and am down to 183 pounds.  I hope that in the next 6 weeks, I can lose the last 10 pounds I need to no longer be overweight, and to look stunning in my wedding gown.  I have already had to have my dress resized from the size 22 that I bought before christmas to a 14.

I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a long term solution to their weight issues.  The workouts are short, and change frequently-no two days are the same.  I even change my trainer after the 6 weeks so that I don't get bored.  I never feel overwhelmed, but I do feel like I've really worked it.  I never thought I would find so much success with such a simple and fun workout.

finshed 30 chaling now on to active more work outs  ...... leg strap sucks starts to tear and fall apart after a few days and faster when more than oneperson is using ....restance bands stink i ame using GOLD'S GYM bands work better and you can use difern levels

I've had the game for almost two years, but just recently got my Wii back in my possession :P. So I've been doing it for almost a week and these exercises really help with my running! These are tried and true running aids.
