Wii Vs. Kinect for working out at home?

Quote  |  Reply

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone out there has tried the Wii or Kinect for working out at home. I heard the Wii has the ability to track BMI, etc, whereas the Kinect is used without any additional accessories... any suggestions, tips?

Thanks so much!- Ria

I have the Wii and use EA Sports Active II to work out. It tracks your heart rate through your exercise in order to give you an accurate calculation of calories burned. You do have to wear the heart rate monitor on your arm as well as a leg strap to monitor your movements. I haven't found it too bothersome to have those things strapped on during the workout. Btw, those things come with the game so you don't have to buy them extra or anything. The only thing extra I use are hand weights instead of the resistance band that comes with the game.

Allergy Remedies
Is It Possible to Go Natural?
The side effects of allergy medications keep some people from using them. Natural remedies can be a great alternative, but some are more effective than others.
