I started lifting weights a few months ago and I've been seeing something wierd that I want to know if happens to others.
So my boobs are getting bigger. I used to be a C cup except for about 1 week a month when i would be a D cup. With the weights I'm a D cup all the time now.
Does this make any sense to any of the rest of you?
My band measurement has not changed. I'm 36 so well past puberty which is the last time my bra size changed so much
I'm not 100% sure, there could be other factors coming into play, but if you're doing a lot of chest exercises, growth in muscle there can affect your breast size. It could be you're on the brink of a half cup and due to fluctuating hormones (because us women need to have our hormones change weekly if not daily) your breast tissue swells during certain times of the month. Other than these two explanations, I'm not entirely sure =/, hope it helps some!
I could see your chest muscles growing and pushing your boobs out, but that wouldn't make them bigger. Lifting weights could be affecting your hormones, or the timing could be serendipitous. My boobs look smaller to me, since I started lifting, but I also lost a bunch of weight.
Has the shape improved? Maybe perkiness adds a cup size? I feel my breast haven't changed much but my weight lifting has only b een a month but I am hoping for shape improvement (since I think I have (I believe) acquired my desired bra size, I'd be bummed if I went up a cup size after all I have been through :P).
I've heard that chest exercises can increase your bust size...but then I've also heard that's a myth... :/
Although I can feel my pecs have definitely gotten bigger since I started lifting weights more often. Hasn't seemed to have affected my bra though.
Everyone's different...it's totally possible!
Uhm I do not think shape has changed they have always been rather perky.

Duh. The pecs are the muscle, and those muscles affect perkiness.
I think mine have gotten perkier, but my measurements haven't changed.
Mine have definately gotten perkier, but I wouldn't say larger. I used to be a 36C when I was 40 lbs overweight and now I'm about a 34B, so mine got smaller through cardio. When I began lifting that's when my chest got a lot more defined, aka my boobs getting perkier.
