Alternatives to sandwhich?

Quote  |  Reply
Since I get out of school on May 15th, I'll be needing to make myself a lunch everyday. I already have Wht I'm going to have, but I need an alternative to a sandwhich, cause before I had a budding chicken sandwhich on wheat with lettuce and pickle, but I'm going to become a vegatarian, so I can't have that. I don't like hummus or pita bread, so don't include that. If its a sandwhich I'll have it on wheat bread, but I'm open to things other than a sandwhich. The stuff I have already is baby carrots, apple, salad, special k chips and then whatever I get out of this post. Thanks.

-pasta salad

-veggie wraps

-tofu stir fry (you can mix brown rice in there, refridgerate it, and put it in a tupperware if needed)

-Grilled cheese sandwich w/ tomato

-yogurt w/ granola and 2 hard boiled eggs w/ veggies (and anything else you wish to include to meet a solid calorie mark)

Just a few ideas off the top of my head :)

This! With roasted cashews!

If you like lighter, veggie-based pasta sauces, you can have that with spaghetti squash "noodles".

Omelettes/frittatas - lots of variety.
